Pets overall (and demonic Sacrifice)

I appreciate that Pets should contribute to our DPS, but there are major issues that I don't think the Devs are really addressing.

I really would like to see some changes made:

1) Make Demonic Sacrifice a Choice. It should provide a buff equivalent to around 10% less damage than the demon gives the lock when out and attacking. Our pets are less part of our damage than hunter pets. Our Pet healing kills us and is channelled. Hunters click "Mend Pet" and go on their business attacking things with the mend pet going along. This is imbalanced. We can't be expected to have self-sufficiency when there's PVP or PVE damage, our Mana Pool is derived from our health, and the healing of our pet is derived from our health. The moving of Fel Synergy to the top of the demonology tree is a good start, however, it's also giving up buffing the lock and pet to do so (the stam and int bonuses are gone).

2) Pets should buff the Warlock without Master demonologist being a necessity to do so. Blood Pact is bad now. Fel Int is going to be worse (who doesn't group with Mages or Priests) when DS goes baseline. The pets we have out should have their DPS dropped to provide a buff to the warlock via passive talents.

3) Soul Link, our only means of damage mitigation, even glyphed, and being earlier in the tree, does not come close to higher armor/magical resistance values that other classes have available to them.

My remedy:

Your Imp increases your crit chance by 3% while active and attacking. Empowered Imp buffs your next Direct Damage spell (while active) by 10%.
Imps also can phase shift during combat. Making them viable for Soul link duty and for remaining survivable in PVP.

Succubi need the most work. Seduce should be useable while invisible. The MD buff on Succubi should be changed to 15% flat physical damage mitigation. Also put stealth detection here. Look, a PVP Pet.

Voidy, voidy, voidy.....what to do with you. I dunno. My guess is to make the voidy do the following: While your Voidwalker is active, all threat by you and party members is reduced by 15%. This actually makes it a useful tool for PVE soloing and helps tanks. A Roar of Sacrifice type ability would be perfect for Voidy as well. Make the -10% hit also not force a target to attack voidy. Mitigation pet. Then, give us a glyph to increase the damage the voidwalker receives from Soul Link by 15%. Because he can't hurt anybody.....and is going to be sacrificed anyway.....

Felhunter....the one pet that makes sense.....almost......baseline it should reduce magic damage by 10%. Shadow Bite should do more damage...and passive additional healing would be nice.

Felguard.....MP5....add MP5 "But we're warlocks." Yes I understand. However, self sufficiency should be considered. Our mana regen right now scales with spirit, however, we receive no direct benefit from spirit-based regen. Put it on the Felguard. Demo remains the tree with no mana regen talent at all. 15% of your spirit-based mana regeneration continues while your Felguard is alive. Outside of that he should have a disarm.

Doomguard: Avoidance please. Buff his RoF. Add DT and DP to applicable to him. That is all.

Infernal: Make completely immune to damage, period so he's a flat 1 minute DPS increase. Otherwise what's the point? CD's too long for arenas and dropping him in BG's can be a nice Oh-crap button.

Master Demonologist gets changed to increase these baseline buffs.

And Demonic Sacrifice should then give you:
Imp: 10% to crit and haste.
Succubus: 10% damage.
Felhunter: Decreases all magic damage taken by 20%
Voidwalker: Decreases all physical damage taken by 20%
Felguard: Decreases all damage taken by 8% and increases all damage done by 8%

Re: Pets overall (and demonic Sacrifice)

My priest 2man partner recently commented on how DKs have their pet out and then sometimes have the gargoyle. I think since they put a 1 min time limit on Infernal, they should be our gargoyle.. so I have my felhunter out, and then summon Infernal, I don't loose my felpup. Inferenal only lasts 1minute anyway.

Some will say this is OP, but it would be a damn nice change.
