Re: Dreadsteed quest

Thank you for your kind offer, but I am on Silver Hand. Still wandering around in search of Jubahl Corpseeker in Ironforge. Most of the level 80 Warlocks who I've asked can't remember where he is. I'd really just like to get the quest started... thank you again though, I appreciate your response

I then asked a level 80 Warlock for assistance on Jubahl Corpseekers whereabouts and was told that he was removed since the new patch and that the quest no longer exists. Is this correct, and might anyone know why my trainer is not offering the quest to me if it does still exist? I'd really like to get my new mount, can someone help me out please. Thank you
I'm not sure about this as I play Horde, but as he was only a demon trainer it's possible he was removed when they changed the way our demons learn their talents.

I'm fairly sure he just acted as a 'bread crumb' quest giver for the Dreadsteed quest. If you head down to Burning Steppes and find Mor'zul Bloodbringer you should be able to take the dreadsteed quest from him. Good luck

Re: Dreadsteed quest

Try looking for Spackle Thornberry in the Blue Recluse in Stormwind. He gives the quest as well.

I thought Spackle Thornbury was in the basement of the Slaughtered Lamb Tavern in the Mage Quarter of Stormwind.

Kudos to all of my fellow locks that "EARN" their mount. I still object that Blizzard made it available for purchase instead of earning it. The true sign of a Warlock... Congratulations

Re: Dreadsteed quest

I hit level 60 over the weekend and was excited to finally be able to do this quest line since I'd had the materials for the quests in the bank for a couple months.

It was definitely worth doing just for the feat of strength and for the cool, final part of the quest line. Every warlock should go through the summoning ritual in Dire Maul and fight the dreadsteed and the demon. The hard part is finding people to go to Scholomance and Dire Maul with you.

It's worth the time and gold to do. If any Horde locks on Deathwing want to do, I'll keep the mats and you can try to coordinate with me if you want to save some gold.
