Correction to alliance felhunter quest guide

I was hunting the murlocs in Southshore to get the book for the Tome of the Cabal quest. I hadn't checked the guide on this website yet so spent a lot of time clearing out the various murloc camps to no avail. My groupmates had to log soon so I broke down and checked out the guide. The map here has a "X marks the spot" to show the location of the book.

So we went directly to that murloc camp and cleared it out. Still no book on the ground. Getting pretty frustrated, we decided to try one more camp before the other players logged. We went to the next camp directly west of the one indicated by the X on the map. It was at that camp that I found the book needed for the quest.

So the quest guide on this website is slightly incorrect. With that said, its also quite possible that the book location is completely random and can spawn at any of the murloc camps. The writer of the guide may have found the book at the spot indicated by the X, while I found it at a different camp. Wanted to share this info in case anyone else has problems finding the book.

I just did this quest last night...and the map was correct for me...my guess is that it spawns in different places.

Hmm thanks Kebkin. When I did the quest the book was at the X spot, however I will make a note on the guide that it could be random and to check nearby camps as well.

I've done the quest twice and helped guildies out with it a couple times, and its always shown up at the westmost camp (just before the coast turns north).

I just did this, the X isn't exactly on the camp, maybe it should be over to the left a little more but I don't think the book moves at all.
