Question: Pet Grimoires - Do you still need 'a list'?

Updating the Pet portion of the front page. One of the links is for the Printable Grimoire List. And yes, ignore that it still only goes to level 70 /shame

Do we still need that information? Back in the day, it was handy. But a lot has changed with the pet training abilities, so do we still need a list of all the different abilities at each stage?

Re: Question: Pet Grimoires - Do you still need 'a list'?

While the actual list of grimoires is, of course, pointless... I have recently been asked (indirectly) about the level Felguards get Anguish. I am currently working over the Pet FAQ (just updating for 3.1), so maybe I can drop some time into the individual pet profiles and update them with this info directly.
Oh, for the downtime at work!

Yeah, it seems that all we would really need is a list of the pet spells and the levels your pets gain those spells since we no longer have to purchase the Grimoires.

Re: Question: Pet Grimoires - Do you still need 'a list'?

I'm currently porting over the 'Pet Abilities' Pages (which also need updating, I mean really, what HAVE I been doing since Wrath of the Lich King?!) which list each level of their skills. So that kinda covers that question I guess...

I'm thinking I'll just drop the printable list. We don't need it anymore, no?

Re: Question: Pet Grimoires - Do you still need 'a list'?

Nope, not needed any more, aside from historical sake. A record of the game as it used to be, which I don't think anyone really cares about aside from those occasional "remember when..." threads.

Example of the abilities pages (so out of date): Succubus Abilities - The Warlocks Den Forums

Yeah, those Abilities pages are all we really need to have. they seem to cover everything. Just need to be updated.

Re: Question: Pet Grimoires - Do you still need 'a list'?

Yeah, badly LOL! Just porting it all over today and will then look at updating it. Just taking a little longer than I expected...

Although, the good thing with the way I am doing it now is that one theme change = changes everything!

Re: Question: Pet Grimoires - Do you still need 'a list'?

The grimoire page was the primary reason I used to come to Warlocks Den at the start. Long before I dipped my toes into the forums.

Definitely keep a list of what level your pets first get their abilities.
