Felhunter spell resistance issue

In this thread, Mash discusses the formula to calculate spell damage:
http://warlocksden.wowmb.net/viewtopic.php?t=3744

Assuming Mash's formula is correct, that raises an issue with the felhunter. Below is the formula for reference.

eDPS = bDPS * (1 - 0.15(dRes / aLvl))

eDPS= effective DPS (actual DPS)
bDPS= base DPS
dRes= defender's resistance
aLvl= attacker's level

Now that pet stats are displayed in the character window, we know that the felhunter has a value of 60 for all resist types. Assuming we are facing a level 60 mob/character, when you plug that value into the formula, the felhunter's natural "immunity" to spells is very limited.

Against a level 60, the felhunter's 60 resist value will only reduce the amount of spell damage to it by 15%. Based on the lore of Warcraft, I was under the assumption that the felhunter was immune to all spell damage. In the game, the felhunter would need a resist value of 400 (if Mash's formula is correct) across the board for this to be the case.

Note that Mash's formula is applied to calculate damage after the initial resist check (level vs level) is made. Its quite possible that the felhunter has an innate bonus to this intial resist check as well. If it does I am not aware of it so someone else would have to verify. I don't think it does though. I have faced warlock's NPCs with a felhunter pet a few times in Arathi Highlands. I was the same level as the warlock/felhunter. I had no problems whatsoever getting my spells to land on the felhunter.

If the felhunter is to be the true anti-caster pet, then IMO its resist values need to be increased to 400.

Felhunter spell resistance issue

Something doesn't need to be immune to spells to be an anticaster type thing.

I'm fully aware that of all our pets, the felhunter is the best one to use against casters. That's besides the point though. Correct me if I am wrong, but in Warcraft lore the felhunter is completely immune to all magic. If thats the case, they should be immune to all magic in the game as well. If that makes them overpowered, increase their succeptibility to melee damage in some manner to offset it.
