Admiral hat pet buffs

This hat provides a 20 stamina buff

Since beta it was nerfed so that if the primary wear didnt wear it when the buff was up it would dissapear.

If you cast it on a pet (or another player) you can switch the hat out without losing the buff on them. The buff dissapears but the stamina bonus stays.

Useful pet buff for warlocks since it yields close to 300 hp.

If I understand this correctly then I can do the following: Put on the Admiral's Hat, target the tank of my party (as if...I solo a lot, hehe), cast the buff, then put on a hat that has useful stats. And the tank will see the buff icon disappear, but his stamina boost will remain? That sounds like a bug.

I get 10 health per stamina. How do you get a 300 health bonus from a buff that gives 20 stamina? Does the health/stamina differ for other classes, or for pets?

(I just got the pattern for this hat. Can't make it yet, but I'm looking forward to having it.)

stamina buf***e

You understand correctly, it may be a bug

As far as the 300 vs 200 np it may be scaling due to my Demonology talents.

I'm investing in demonology, too. Yet another reason to get that hat! Thanks for the info.

it works, i can cast the buff on my pet and replace the hat with my circlet and the pet buff stays.

I'm trying to decide if it's worth carrying around a hat for this.

The buffs also stack ;)

We went through Zul with our tank having 800 (4x20 sta buff) extra hit points a while back :P

I assume this is a bug though, since you can't take the hat off if you have buffed yourself (which makes sense).
