New Pally Mount
I am not sure if this is the right place, but I saw other Dreadsteed threads here so I figured it would be ok. My apologies if I am mistaken. Anyway, I have just read off of wow.com ( New details on the Argent Tournament update in Patch 3.2 ) that pallies will now get a new class mount via the Argent Tournament. I realize that it makes sense lore-wise since all the Argent Crusade are Paladins but as one of the original two classes able to summon mounts this bothers me. It may be mere QQ, and if so I apologize, but I am sure other Warlocks out there must feel the same. Sure, the new mount is probably merely a new skin, but still, its a new mount for them.  How do you all feel about this?

I still want our dreadsteeds to leave fiery trails. Go figure that the undead mounts and the DK mounts leave fire trails, but the one with the flaming hooves doesn't.  But yes, I want a new mount for us too. Maybe a flying mound...a doomguard that swoops down and picks us up by the shoulders to fly us around would be nice... |

Son, I am dissapointed. Srsly, where is the warlock love? How could they simply forget about us? What the hell did we do to them? I mean sure, a few chewed up corpses here and there, a few agonizing deaths by curses, but it was all with good intentions! Blizzard, Blizzard, how could you, I had feelings for you...

We should have a quest chain for a new flying mount called a Felfly. Think about: all of the corpses we leave laying around are bound to draw flies, right? Perhaps we befriend/capture one of these flies, supersize it, and bind it to our will. This would give us a unique flying mount that fits our style.

We should be able to learn the Headless Horseman's Flying mount end of story. I don't even use my dreadsteed. I have like 26 mounts and I use a Netherdrake for flying and a Raptor for riding. I just like having my collection lol. (I'm an orc and I think I look really funny on a raptor so I ride the hell out of that guy, BE's look really funny on Kodo's). HOWEVER I would def switch to a flying dreadsteed like the Headless Horseman's mount. w00t! |

If we were going to get a flying mount it wouldn't be some fly, nor be just a copy of a mount that anyone w/ some luck can get. It would have to be warlock unique. Which going from Demon - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft would either be the floating eyes, or have to be completely designed. |
