Imp question phase shift

So, Phase shift is ofcorse great for the imp to use when taking damage

but should I leave it on autocast or cast it myself when he is about to die?

Any other tips when using imp?

if you are not a destruction build id use imp for groups only.
and turn off his fireball, put em on passive and always have him phased shifted.

in the first few levels some extra damage is nice though
in the end the damage is rather small and I d rather keep my bloodpact up instead of him getting killed in 2 blows

I whant imp for high damage and stamina buff.

Succubus is good, especialy when your going to use dark pact.
but what good is she exept for damage and to seduce a unexpected rogue when your stunned? (Not that it sucks.. it totaly owns!)

Her seduce is great but then I wont be able to use DoT spells beacouse it would break the second I put on seduce. :/

Imp does even more damage with some talents then succubus untill he runs out of mana.

Imp gives me more stamina, and with a stamina build this is ofc verry good. fireshiled (that issent good but still an okay skill when you are tanking, as you are wehit imp out.)

You can tank quite well with drian life btw.

Good things with Succubus:
- High damage.
- Good for dark pact
- a mez that I wont be using mutch at all beacouse of DoT and drain lock build.
- Invisibilyty helps her survive.

Good things with imp:
- High Damage
- Good for dark pact with its crazy high mana regen. [HAVE TO TURN OFF FIREBALL = No damage] (would still recomaned succubus for pact use and still have damage)
- Phase shift makes him harder to kill.
- Good stamina buff, combined with demonic embrace this is great.
- Fireshield give some uses, combined with lightning shield for example it can be great. (Ofcorse even better in partys)

8) I prefere imp, but I will have a hard time vs rogues who just appear from nowhere. Hopefully Curse of exhaustion will make them slow enough to stay away from them once you get out of stun abilitys. :/

lol not a chance vs rogues without the succ...
they sap you and kill your imp in 3 blows.

they dont see your succubus... they do see your imp.

if you use dark pact and imps fireball then you wont have much mana to drain imo

stamina buff is nice, but for soloing your succ is worth too much.

ever thought seducing then running large distance and soulfiring? :p

tanking with drain life works in lower levels, not vs mobs who hit you for 300 damage

I dont mind using the imp if there is space to fear without worrying about adds. But im in love with my succubus, i do the DOT, drainlife thing and we share Tanking, with the imp i have to tank most of the fight and isnt as mana efficient, especially with Adds.

Sacrifice? I know it's not much, but it's better then just letting Imp die.
