Succubus and Imp damage
I started a thread on the general WoW forum here that Cosmos is putting out a dps far below what is expected for the imp.
In my three test runs I had the imp doing 45 damage and 42 damage while the succubus did 38.5 damage. Both of those damage totals are a bit low as I was not using CoElements with the imp, but am not sure what buffs/debuffs I had going for the succubus (was grouped so warrior shout, sunder armor, and no run curse might have all been on). Either way we are talking about an imp with 5 talent points invested in it not bursting much higher than a succubus and we all know that after 30 seconds the succubus is going to start outdamaging the imp by a lot. I definitely think this should make some people reinspect their pet and talent choices as the imp has been widely reported to be far superior at burst damage. I am going to play around with these two pets more when the servers come back up...that's like tomorrow or something! |

Succubus and Imp damage
I get pretty similar DPS from sucubus and imp, but i feel alot safer using the succubus on my PvP server. =-(
Succubus Crits pretty often, i swear she can hold agro just as good as the Void with just her damage. Lately all i do is throw 2 DOTS, Drain life and with my succubus and im well over 120 DPS Without even proc'ing Nightfall, which will bring my dps alot higher. My Imp produces similar DPS, but he wont be as efficient when i get Dark pact, cant tank in case i get adds, AND cant Cc. So ya, imp is great, but only if im short on shards ![]() |

Succubus and Imp damage
Imp I use in some partys or if I dont want to waste a shard atm and want a mana battery to travel with. The sta buff and damage shield are actually fairly useful in instances. Other then those situations though I pretty much agree with Bigbird.
