I'm not totally sure what the base crit rate of the imp is, and some people here have reported problems with the T9 bonus and that it would only increase the crit rate by 7 or 8%, but it's approximately right. Maybe I should go back to the training dummy and see for myself

I was running 0/41/30 when I hit 80 and ran a few heroics and with some crafted pieces I was almost all purple gear. With felgard I was hitting around 2500 dps in heroics. The gear I got had more spellpower but I lost hit. So I tried 3/13/55 Was nice not having to worry so much about hit. Problem was lost around 500 dps because imp did not put out as much as felgard. Went back to 0/41.30 and now with t8 and t7 peices I am doing around 3 k in heroics. Problem is hit once again. Can't use better trinkets because I lose even more hit. Now I am wondering if I should try 3/13/55. I am concerned my dps would drop again as imp does not add as much as felgard. Felgard does around 600-700 is heroics and in full buffed raids he is close to 1k Imp is around 300-400 dps Felgard is nice when doing dailies. So starting gear 0/41/30 with felgard works real well I am trying to figure out what gear level should I have before trying destro again. mike |
