Pet name script

When I got IMP, he had a crumby name. I found a macro script that deleted him so that when you recast, you got a new IMP with a new name. I now have a SUC with a name I don't care for, but I can't find the script and deleted the macro. Anyone know the script ??

Nevermind....found it..../script PetAbandon()

Re: Pet name script

One warning ... if you abandon a pet, you will lose any Grimoirs it knew as well. So if you are thinking of changing pets, do so before you spend the cash on training it.

Re: Pet name script

Yea, found that out with Imp when I had to re-train him....so I did it with Suc while she was new....did cost me alot of shards however...but what the heck. Some of these names are so bad I wish they would just forget having names altogether and simply be labeled so and so's minion....

Re: Pet name script

Unlike your spells, however, you only need to rebuy the highest-raked grimoires. So you're looking at less than 8G per pet name.

Re: Pet name script

Is it just me or is this script not working anymore after this patch?
I wasn't done rolling names yet.

(that is, it kills the pet, but it loses neither its name nor its spells)

I was afraid that would happen...I got my names off early.

Still kind of poor form to patch something major like that in in total stealth fashion.
Pretty big nerf in my book, I'm not too sure if I can play like this. *eyes his rogue*

Re: Pet name script

lol, not being able to rename your pets is a "big nerf" and makes a Warlock unplayable? You've got to be kidding me
