am i the only one that thinks that the succubus quest is way too hard for a level 20 warlock that just got the game? took me maybe 3 hours to do it!

I found the one given in The Undercity to be 10x harder than the one given in Orgimmar, however you spell it.

It all depends on which one you get and your play style.

Well, it's reasonable that it's tough, considering the quest reward gets more powerful as you level and doesn't need to be replaced.

I found the quest in Orgrimmar to be a lot easier then the Undercity one. Being undead myself, I made several attempts trying to complete the Undercity one before finally another warlock told me to check the quest in both cities to see which one would be easier to complete. Therefore, you are not alone there. In addition, I ended up waiting a few more levels before completing the quest to make it easier on myself. I was drain tank leveling and I used my voidwalker 99% of the time so it worked out.

What part did you find too hard?

I did it on monday night with a level 20 'lock and didn't have any problems. I died once running to the Wetlands but it was my own fault as I wasn't oaying attention and ran into a patrol. Ooops! Lol. The only thing that really made me mad is that when I got there an Orc hunter attacked and killed the guy before I had a chance. Made me mad but I waited and in about 10 minutes or so he repopped and I killed him and hearthstoned back.

The guy down by the wall in Siiverpine isn't too bad if you kill him fast. Don't try to grind him. Bring up an Imp or a friend and Crush him fast. If he has time he heals and can be a hassle.

Funny thing I didn't realize I could keep a pet up when I was fighting to kill the next level pet. I always dismissed my pets and fought alone until this time. Stupid me! lol Maybe that should be added to the pet quest guide so dummies like me will realize it sooner. I know that guide was a huge timesaver for me.

Didnt know i "laided on" simply stated that its hard for a reason,shes our highest dps pet and you get her at level 20,yes at level 20 she isnt great but you should expect it to be hard...and with drain tanking (using the void) it wasnt too hard,even when i made my first lock.Its all about tactic,this sites great for that you should find quite a bit on low level all the way up to high level tactics builds and opinions.Make sure your not using a tactic/build because someone says its better then another,the only tactic/build that is better then the others is the one your best at.
