Felhunter quest
Hello my fellow warlocks! Sorry I haven't posted in quite a long time, just been busy IRL with crap. You know how it is! hehe..
So anyways, I recently made a human warlock, got him up to level 30.. Felhunter time!! I'm thinking this is going to be an easy thing.. WRONG! I'm not sure how long it took all you guys to do it, but for me, it took almost 7 hours to do.. and I was playing non-stop! 0.0 Does that seem way to long to be doing a warlock quest? I thought it did.. I dinged another 2 lvls during the time it took me to do the damn quest, so then I had yet -another- quest to start on.. for the gold robe thingy, or whatever it's called. Not like I was doing anything else, ya know? just the warlock quest. I quit after that.. Just thought it was to damn long, and I was getting pissed off with how long it took. I'm not sure if this is the right fourm to be posting it in, so feel free to move it around.. -Vivec. |

Re: Felhunter quest
I am so glad you posted this. I would have to say it took me at least 5 hours to get this dang thing done myself. And at the end I was not impressed with the Felhunter. Now I know why all you really ever hear about is the VWalker. The only great thing I gained out of the questing < sssshhhh don't tell anyone but I am one of *those* alliance people > was that I discovered the Shimmering Flats and I made 3 level's grinding there pretty darn fast. Other than that, it was a waste of time. I will say that I met some very nice Horde Players in the SilverPine Forest area. Too bad we can not group and set up some kind of a secret underground rebel faction of Horde & Alliance players. That would be a kick !

Re: Felhunter quest
Nice try, Kusheil.. I already know about the flats..
I take all my chars there once I hit around level 33.. Can easy kill those level 35,36 mobs out there with my pets. That is, if if I'm on my hunter or warlock. I do all those quests out there, in roughly 2 hours.. sometimes longer, if I have to run back and sell at the vendors there. It's a fun place, I love it! There's rarely anyone out there, alliance-wise. I've run into a few horde folks before, but they just leave me alone. That would be fun to quest with the other faction! You could almost do it, if you had a horde/alliance friend who was there with you. Who would know, right? :;) lol |

Re: Felhunter quest
Does the alliance get a different set of quests? For the felhunter, I did the two halfs of the book quest - one from a cave in a centaur camp and one from a gaggle of murlocs near Tauren Mill. Then I had to get some channelling rods from some warlocks in alliance territory.
I thought the first quest was pretty easy - kill murlocs in hillsbrad and centaur's in 10K needles. I was actually annoyed because I got the quest right after I'd finished the quest to kill the centaurs - ended up having to kill my way back through them. The murloc part was really easy - came in from the water side - send in VW, loot, sac VW, run away. The second part kind of sucked because I didn't know where I was going and walked into an alliance town. Outside of that it was pretty easy all things considered - the orcs dropped the rods in the first couple of kills, hearthed back and boom done. |
