Succubus screwed up

Before 1.10 if i would tell my succubus to attack any enemy she would keep doing so until she or it died, now if i tell her to attack then i attack a different enemy she will switch to them after they have hit me a few times. This makes her almost worthless in groups were I would charm one out of a group till we could kill the others then focus on the charmed one. I've tried switching her between pas. and def. but no change.

Re: Succubus screwed up

this seems to be a strange problem, it maybe that it is mod related (what a good Blizzard-esque answer eh?)

try creating a macro with nothing more than

PetWait()
PetAttack()
cast seduction
PetDefensiveMode()

for me, it works perfectly. for lots of others it seems have problems and cancels the seduce. that maybe one of my addons but as i'm not the one with the problem, i haven't looked into it :P

give it a try and let me know if it works for you.

you'll get an error with ct_raid though if you don't have succy present. sasme with any pet skill really.

Re: Succubus screwed up

I most likely mod related b/c I almost use succy exclusively and does not have any problem. I only use CT mod and doomcount.

Re: Succubus screwed up

I'm having the same problem with my succi; she will not hold seduce while I'm fighting another character. Tried her in passive, agressive, etc..nada. Turned on and off mods...nada. Essentially I have to stay on top of the seduce button to get her to hold it, which is difficult while your fighting an alternate mob or two at the same time. (what a biatch).

Any Ideas?

Re: Succubus screwed up

Are you using the mod PetDefend or any similar pet mods? Here is what PetDefend does. It sounds like to me you have a mod that is affecting your pet’s behavior. I use my Succubus all the time with out any problems.

PetDefend will cause your pet to defend other members of your party when they get attacked in much the same way as it defends you. The pet will only assist party members if the pet is set to Defensive mode. The pet will also only assist party members if the pet isn't currently engaged in combat with a mob.
