Felhunter auto casting

Devour magic is on auto cast. How reliably can I assume he will go ahead and eat all the enemy buffs, and all my debuffs? How much can I trust him to take care of that. Will he do it while attacking, will he do it to other enemies, or the rest of my party?

Good question, I don't know. I haven't played with putting that on auto-cast for a long time. Next time I use him in a bg I'll have to try that and see how he behaves. If it worked as well as that, what would be the point of servitude.

Im pretty sure that even if devour is on auto-cast, it won't cast unless you activate it. so basically auto cast does not work on devour magic.

With autocast for devour magic on the hunter will devour magic from what ever you have
it fighting against, similar to the succys lash of pain. Unfortunately you will have to
manually tell him to devour from yourself and with autocast on it can cause problems.
The problem is the cooldown on it. If he has cast it on the enemy then you have to wait
for the cooldown before you can use it on yourself.

fellhunter's autocast devour magic works...i always play with devour magic on autocast and everytime my opponent places a buff fell will eat it, BUT you do have to manually take off a negative buff if it is placed on you... :-p

ahh thats right - it'll only devour bad stuff on You if you tell it to. Handy macro for targeting you, devour, and then retargeting the last mob:
