Re: Pets on Raids
I use my imp in raids for the stamina buff, but keep him on passive. Parking him near the MT while in phase shift can be handy sometimes.

Re: Pets on Raids
Some of it has to do with pathing; the computer is not as good at following out movements as we might like it to be, and as a result of this it can cause the pet to go way out of the way and agro mobs which = wipe.
If you just keep out an Imp, make sure he has phase shift up and running (and keep it that way), so then he will not agro any mobs, and you will have a nice +Sta buff. ![]() |

Re: Pets on Raids
Odd... I have never had a problem with any of my pets on raids. I usually keep them around until I decided to sacrifice them and I use all the different pets depending on the encounter. If whom ever is not letting you use your different pets, then they obviously do not understand how the warlock class is played, especially if you are spec’ed demonology.

Re: Pets on Raids
Somewhat related funny quote I heard through one of my friends (druid)...he was tagging along in an instance run when the warrior that was leading the group turned to the warlock (who at the time had a VW up) and said, "Can you please get rid of that and summon an imp?"Â Â The warlock promptly replied, "Sure...if I can pick what weapon you use..."Â Â
![]() Always gives me a little chuckle...anywho, in regards to the post, I have never had any complaints from anyone I raid or group with in regards to what pets I use. So long as you use the one that best fits the scenario, keep 'em close to you, use them properly, and know when to get rid of them (for pathing, jumping down, etc...yes, always keep a lot of shards), you should be good. If you find yourself raiding with a bunch of stiffs that plan on limiting what you use the entire time, then an Imp is the way to go... ol |
