Loosing Pets in BattleGrounds

Shards are already a pain in the rear, but why must i constantly loose my pets in battlegrounds.

I enter with felhunter/succy, and run to the field. Engage unsuspecting Shaman...oh great...here comes 3 undead shadow priests...succubus and i are perma feared, im dotted to death, and i go the grave yard....spawn....with a damn imp.

UGHH!! Anyone know of a way to combat this? its the most annoying thing ever...i rarely use a pet in bg's because of it, which negates half of my classes strengths.

You have to summon the pet when you first arrive in the BG to "save" it to you. Then you will usually respawn with it.

This works about 70% of the time. At the very least you should run with the imp out.

Re: Loosing Pets in BattleGrounds

Well, it works sometimes..

but there are way too many times when i spawn after having a succubus...or felhunter..to find that i now have an imp.

its frustrating.

usually happens after pet gets feared and i die while it is feared...or pet gets banished and i die while it is banished.

wish it would be fixed.

I never get the imp when I've summoned another pet in an instance. When I have problems I rez without a pet.

Wow really? I wonder what the deal is then. It sorta feels sometimes like they give you a limit as to how many times you can die with your pet, before it reverts back to an imp.

Cause i will be fine for a while, then all the sudden, i spawn..cast demon armor...start to summon my horse..and look "WTF!! IMP!, ARGHH!!" Id say it happens at least every other WSG instance. (depending on how well we do and how many times i die).

Re: Loosing Pets in BattleGrounds

Don't worry; I have the same problem. Blizzard knows this is a bug, but they don't seem to be trying to fix it. I've resigned to running with the Imp. It's not really so bad... It's a nice extra 500ish health.
