Pet Items

Before I came over to WoW, a while ago now, I played a Mage in EQ. I realized with pet's like the Felhunter not really having "hands" so to speak makes it a little different to the Water/Air/Earth/Fire pets, but I wondering if anyone knew of any plans to implement Pet Items for Warlocks? I'd love to be able to give my Imp weapons so that when he runs out of mana he could go in and melee. Could you imagine how awesome that would look? Imagine how big the swords would be on an Infernal! Perhaps that might be another way for us to help improve out pets...

I too played a mage in EQ. I loved seeing my epic pet duel wielding swords. Right now I havenÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t heard, or read anything where Blizzard plans to implement this feature.

Even though it sounds good, such abilities would be hard to balance in the current combat system of WoW, so I don't believe they are in the plans of developers.
