Problem enslaving demons

Yesterday, I went with a priest friend to grind for the eye of shadow in southern winterspring. We had to grind level 59 elite demons. I couldn't enslave them. What gives? I have no problem enslaving elites in DM or other instances, so why couldn't i do these? They didn't resist, they were immune. I could banish them also. I ended up DOT/fear kiting them to death but would have been much easier with the enslave.

P.S. Drop rate of 0.8% on the eye of shadow according to thottbot. We killed 12 and it dropped.

Some monsters are flagged unenslaveable.

These demons would be too imbalanced to enslave. Especially with the bug that let's you permanently enslave them. ;-)
