Hybrid 0/40/31 rotation how to

Glyphs im using are: LifeTap/Conflag/imolate

as for the decimate rotation if you have decimation up you can cast incinerate to start the incin/SF combo "incin-SF-Incin-SF...ect" if you do not have decimate up you need to throw 2 incinerates to start the combo , max distance is your affliction max distance.

Update: after some investigation it seems that in these videos my char still has the UBER shirt stats so these numbers are closer to what you would see w/ T8 Stats

One thing to note, decimation weaving is not something one should be able to expect to do very much of. Most times you will be using a 2x nuke, 1x SF rotation in ulduar.

What addon are you using to trace your Dots and Cd on conflag. I like the way it looks and would like to try it out.

Re: Hybrid 0/40/31 rotation how to

With 3.1 I tried the 53\0\18 Spec and found that to be very lackluster
Following advice from EJ and here I tried the Hybrid 0\41\30 spec and found a 500dps increase over Affliction. Now let me say Affliction is my favorite spec but there is no denying the bump. I also used in both Spellstone, which I have to say no one has talked about but the changes to both Firestone and Spellstone are great and MUCH overdue. Below is a link to the Hybrid SPec if you wish to see it.

Re: Hybrid 0/40/31 rotation how to

My problem with the decimation period is that i need to wait for the incinerate to make contact for it to take effect, also i find staying with the current rotation even after 35% keeps about the same dps. If im not doing anything wrong maby i should try somthing else? Please help

At max range, try Incin Incin SF (start or restart after a break for lifetap or some such), then Incin SF Incin SF for the rest of the fight; if that doesn't work just do I,I,SF,I,I,SF,I,I,SF, which is only about a 150dps loss.

Re: Hybrid 0/40/31 rotation how to

thanks for the video.

im currently level 74 affliction lock and pull 700-900dps the numbers your getting are just insane considering my guilds top dpser is a boomkin and pulling around 3k dps.

the question is do i respec now and get used to the rotations and the way the hybrid works or wait til i hit 80?

good to see another button pusher cant stand using the mouse!
