I would imagine a 165 reduction to fire resistances (as well as arcane, frost, nature, and shadow which seems way more useful to the entire raid) and 13% increased magic damage against a target give more dps in the long run than having one burst of 7500 damage (with the chance to crit) happen once a minute?

I did a dummy test and CoE seems to be better from what I can tell but everyone is still swearing by CoD and I don't know why.

Oh and look up my armory if you want to see my spec. I dunno if maybe that has to do with some of it or perhaps my gear. I am just curious to get an explaination to this since it's bugging me bad lol.

for maxx dps you want to keep going til your mana runs out then lifetap a bunch of times to get full mana then carry on.

thats all very well if your not taking damage but LT to full mana can leave you very low on health which unless a healer is on the ball can leave you dead and we all know that its pretty hard to dps when your dead :-)

what i find myself doing is hitting LT once at about half mana. giving the healers plenty of time to get me back up again. I dont have the heros plagueheart garb yet so dont get the LT bonus.what do you think?
