Crypt's Guide to doing Dailies!

Your Guide to doing the Daily Quests!

Daily quests are an excellent way to farm up some gold for that much desired Epic Flying Mount, to help out with the cost of tradeskill items, or to generally pool together money to frolic around in. As the title gives away, 'dailies' are repeatable quests that can reward you with items, faction, honor, and more importantly, gold! You may complete up to 25 daily quests per day per character and there is a counter on the upper right corner of your quest log that shows how many daily quests you have completed for that day. Note: you also receive a message with your running total whenever you hand in a completed daily.
Farming gold? If you do all the Isle of Quel’Danas, Hellfire Peninsula, Skettis, Ogri'la, the ones listed under 'other' Outlands quests and one PvP daily quest - that's 25 quests and a whopping 283 gold, and 3 silver!
The quests reset every night, the exact reset hour depending on the realm you play on. The hour never changes and is chosen to be in the early AM so as not not to coincide with the instance reset. You can double-check by mousing over the daily quests completed out of 25 in the upper-right corner of your quest log. Once the reset time has passed, you can go and repeat the quests available - for most people, this is the next day.

Quest givers who have available daily quests have a blue exclamation point instead of a yellow one.

Isle of Quel’Danas Daily Quests -- 10 quests -- 104 gold 94 silver

These daily quests are all accepted, completed, and turned in on the Isle of Quel’Danas. They are very quick and easy, and doing all 12 quests should take under an hour to complete. Running these every day is the most time efficient way to grind gold right now, and a complete run of the Isle’s dailies rewards 104 gold, 94 silver. If you are grinding gold and need it quickly, you can do all of these quests on any characters able to do them before doing the more time consuming dailies.

How to get there:
The easiest way to get there is to take the "Shattrath Portal to Isle of Quel'Danas which is in the north-west alcove in the middle of Shattrath. You will find it just behind Exarch Nasuun, who also provides the quest Maintaining the Sunwell Portal (see below). Right clicking the portal takes you directly to Sun's Reach Sanctum, which is where you will be collecting the quests.

Quest check list:
Before you go running off to complete, make sure you have all the following:
  1. Know Your Ley Lines
  2. The Air Strikes Must Continue
  3. The Battle Must Go On
  4. Keeping the Enemy at Bay
  5. Crush the Dawnblade
  6. Don't Stop Now....
  7. Open for Business
  8. Disrupt the Greengill Coast
  9. Arm the Wards!
  10. Further Conversions
1, 2 and 3 come from the base of the building you are outside when you land. Just follow the outside walkway around to get inside, then drop down. Run out and straight across to the next building, following the outside ramp up and around to collect quests 4 and 5, then drop down the south-east side to collect number 6. Run north to the Sun's Reach Harbor and get 7 from inside the big round building, and 8 from the ship to the right of there. Next it's across to small round building facing the other boat to get 9 and 10.
Note: This guide assumes your server has completed the phases of the Shattered Sun Offensive Quests...
There is also the quest Your Continued Support, which, for the cost of 10 gold, Anchorite Ayuri will give you 150 reputation. However, unless you really want your Shattered Sun Offensive reputation as fast as possible you should hold on to your gold. Completing this quest every day for 2 weeks would still not even give as much reputation as a single day’s worth of the 10 Isle daily quests.

Completing the quests:
The most efficient way to complete them is by doing a big loop - which way you do the loop is completely up to you. I like to end the day on the flying quests, so I complete my loop via the following route:

Quest: Arm the Wards!
Objective: Collect 4 Mana Remnants and use them to energize one of the Crystal Wards.
Reward: 9g 10s and 150 rep.

Quest: Further Conversions
Objective: Place the Attuned Crystal Cores inside 5 defeated Erratic Sentries to turn them into friendly units.
Reward: 9g 10s and 150 rep.

Quest: Open for Business
Objective: Gather 5 Bloodberries
Reward: 11g 99s and 250 rep.

You can complete these three quests in and around the same area, just north-west of where you picked up the last two quests. The Erratic Sentries are in amongst Wretched Fiends and Wretched Devourers which drop the Mana Remnants you need. Note that the Mana Remnants won't show in your quest log, you will have to manually keep an eye on your bags until you have looted 4. All around the ground you will find the Bloodberries.
Tip: If you plan on doing the dailies every day, drag the Mana Remnants onto your hotbar and you will be able to keep track of them there.
Quest: Crush the Dawnblade
Objective: Kill 6 Dawnblade Summoners, 6 Dawnblade Blood Knights and 3 Dawnblade Marksmen.
Reward: 11g 99s and 250 rep.

After you have completed the first three quests, head south to Dawnstar Village and kill there. The Summoners tend to be all around the outside, while you will find the Marksmen easiest at the target practices in the center, and the Blood Nights just next to it. In the largest building there you will also find the Bloodcrystal for Know Your Ley Lines, which also houses Summoners and Blood Knights if you're having trouble finding any, Knights that is, Summoners seem to be everywhere!

Quest: The Battle Must Go On
Objective: Kill 6 Burning Legion Demons and the Emissary of Hate. Use the Shattered Sun Banner to impale the Emissary of Hate's corpse.
Reward: 10g 10s and 250 rep.

Next head south-east to the big green portal (green waves) and kill the demons. If the Emissary of Hate is up, kill him, otherwise if he's already been killed you can just go up and right click the banner over his corpse. You don't need to do the killing blow in order to complete that step. Also, while you are there, right click your Astromancer's Crystal to take the portal reading for Know Your Ley Lines.

Quest: Disrupt the Greengill Coast
Objective: Free 10 Greengill Slaves
Reward: 11g 99s and 250 rep.

Quest: Don't Stop Now....
Objective: Kill Darkspine Myrmidon to the east and use their keys to steal three pieces of the ore from their chests.
Reward: 11g 99s and 250 rep.

Make your way around to Greengill Coast and kill the Myrmidon's. The males drop keys you can use on Darkspine Ore chests around the murloc camps which will yield the ore, while the females drop Orbs of Murloc Control which you use to free the murlocs. To free them, you need to "bomb" the orb on the murlocs, pretty much like aerial bombing, but on foot.
Tip: You can carry 10 orbs at a time, and these do follow over to the next day. So if you see a couple of extra Darkspine Sirens, kill them to collect some spare orbs. Depending on how many murlocs you hit with each orb you will need between 2 and 5 orbs for this quest.
Note that the Darkspine chest keys actually go into your keybag, and not into your normal inventory bags. If you are like me and have a custom UI that hides the keybag icon, or don't want the hassle of looking in there every day, you can drag the icon for the keys onto your hot bars to keep track of how many you need each time. I also do the same for the murloc control orbs. This is especially handy if you are going to be repeating these quests often.

Once you have what you need, or if you need to find more mobs, travel down the coast until you locate the Naga Shrine. This is the 3rd and final shrine you need to take a reading of to complete Know Your Ley Lines. Once you have completed that step and have all your ore and Murlocs freed, make your way back to town and the second boat, ie the one you didn't get a quest from. Just to the left of the boat you will find Ayren Cloudbreaker who can help you with the following:

Quest: The Air Strikes Must Continue
Objective: Fly over the Dead Scar and use the Arcane Charges to kill 2 Pit Overlords, 3 Eredar Sorcerers and 12 Wrath Enforcers.
Reward: 9g 10s and 150 Rep.

This is a fun quest! Speak to Ayren and take the top talk bubble that starts with, 'Speaking of action...' This will put you on a flight directed to fly over the Dead Scar where you will see the ground turn black and mobs fighting. You need to right click the Arcane Charger to bomb the mobs. The Pit Overlords are the big lizard looking guys and will take two shots in order to kill, so try to bomb them as you're approaching, and again as you're flying past. The Sorcerers are the guys up on the ledges and take one shot to kill, as do the Wrath Enforcers which are the smaller guys on the ground surrounded by a circle of mobs.
Tip: There's two Pit Overlords near the end of the stretch right before you do a loop. If you aim your bomb in the middle of these two, you will hit both. One shot as you fly over, one shot as you fly back. Voila! You're two Pit Overlords done!
If you don't manage to bomb everything in your first run, don't panic. You can simply talk to Ayren when you land and request the same flight again. The quest doesn't reset upon finishing the flight, so you can take 10 tries to complete it if you need. To give you the best chance, watch for any other players taking off when you do. If someone takes the same flight right as you do, they will be ahead of you and bomb the mobs you will probably be aiming for, which will hinder your ability to complete thee kill count. If you do see people taking off, wait a few seconds before accepting your flight. Alternatively, seek out others of the same faction wanting to complete it and all fly off together - any member of the group that bombs and kills the target counts for all.

Quest: Keeping the Enemy at Bay
Objective: Set the ship sails on fire and kill 6 Dawnblade Reservists
Reward: 7g 59s and 250 Rep.

Once you are done with the first bombing run, speak to Ayren again and this time, take the second talk bubble that says, 'I need to intercept the Dawnblade Reinforcements'. This flight takes you out over the sea to the three ships you can see from shore. As you fly past the ships, throw the flaming oil onto the ships sails to burn them, and then when you land, start killing the Reservists. Depending on how many people are completing this quest, you might be best to swim to one of the other boats from which you land and kill there. Once you have killed all 6 needed, take a flight back to the main land from the boat you landed on.

Once you are back on the docks, locate the Crystal Ward there (big red crystal) and right click your Mana Remnants (if you haven't already done this when running around). And voila! All done! Complete! Finito! Run around, hand in and frolic in your gold!

Note: One thing you need to be aware in regards to all these quests, is that a lot of people do them. When a lot of people are killing in the same area, killing the same mobs, their respawn rate quadruples! Don't worry about not getting enough mobs, worry about not getting away from them when you need.

If you want to complete more dailies, be sure to grab the following before hearthing.
  1. Rediscovering Your Roots
  2. Ata’mal Armaments

Hellfire Peninsula -- 3 Quests -- 35 gold 97 silver
Note: There is a prerequisite, The Missing Magistrix, that starts on the Isle of Quel'Danas at Captain Theris Dawnhearth. You have to complete this quest in order to be eligible for the quests in Hellfire Peninsula, and it also provides a one-time teleport from the Isle to the Throne of Kil'jaeden. Once you have done the prerequisite quest, you have to now fly (manually) to the Throme of Kil'jaeden in order to repeat these dailies.

Quest: Rediscovering Your Roots obtained from Mar'nah on the Isle of Quel'Danas
Objective: Collect 5 Razorthorn Roots
Reward: 13g 88s, Shattered Sun Supplies which gives you random items and 350 reputation with SSO

From Shattrath, you want to fly north east until you reach Razorthorn Rise. It is just north of Veil Reskk, between Hellfire Peninsula and Shattrath, location approximately 53,13. You are looking for a big thorn covered area. When you land, you want to kill the Razorthorn Flayers until a Razorthorn Flayer Gland drops. Once you have that in your possession, right click it near a Razorthorn Ravager to charm it - it doesn't matter if the ravager attacks you, the charm still lands. You will know it has worked by the lovely green aura now covering him. The Ravager will now act as your pet and will fight for you when attacked, but more importantly comes with the ability called Expose Razorthorn Root. You can use your new friend to find these roots by getting him close to a Razorthorn Dirt Mound and clicking that ability. This will cause the Flayer to sniff the dirt pile, after which the dirt will clear and you will see the exposed root. Right click the root to loot it.

Once you have collected all your roots, jump back on your mount and continue flying north east across Hellfire Peninsula to the Throne of Kil'jaeden. Horde can stop at Falcon Watch and take an in game flight to Thrallmar if they wish, but it doesn't really save you that much time. Just point yourself in the right direction and use the in flight time to refresh your beverage of choice.

Quest: Blast the Gateway from Magistrix Seyla where you complete the quest.
Objective: Summon a Living Flare and slay Incandescent Fel Sparks near it until it becomes an Unstable Living Flare. Return to the Legion Gateway with the Unstable Living Flare to destroy it.
Reward: 10g 10s, Shattered Sun Supplies which gives you random items and 250 reputation with Shattered Sun Offensive

Quest: Blood for Blood from Magistrix Seyla where you complete the quest.
Objective: Kill 4 Emaciated Felbloods by using the Fel Siphon on them
Reward: 11g 99s, choice of 5 x Mark of Sargeras OR 5 x Sunfury Signet and 250 reputation with SSO

The above two quests are collected, completed and handed in at the same area - the very north (slightly east) area of Hellfire Peninsula - map. Summon your Living Flare where you accept the quest, before you run off, before you start killing. To make him unstable, you need to be killing the Incandescent Fel Sparks which are the yellow/green elementals. It takes about eight kills of Incandescent Fel Sparks for the Living Flare to be fully charged to its Unstable Living Flare state, however the good news is that you do not need to land the killing blow, nor have tagged the Fel Spark to get the kill to register on your flare. You just need to be within ten yards or so and your flare will get the charge as well. This is why people will come up and help you kill yours, they aren't trying to take your mobs. *wink*

Once fully charged, the flare will change from orange to bright green (it's obvious when it happens) and you then need to take the Unstable Living Flare to the gate where you first got the quest. The flare will not despawn if you mount on either a land or flying mount, nor do you not need to dismount for the flare to trigger the explosion at the gate - simply hover through until you receive the complete message. Note: The flare will despawn and lose all charges if you get killed and you will need to start again. There have been incidents on PvP servers of bored little kidlets waiting for your Living Flare to complete charging and then jumping in to kill you, forcing you to do the quest all over again. One trick to help combat that is to start fighting close to the gate when you feel you are almost done. There is one Incandescent Fel Spark that spawns right next to the gate, and since you don't need to be the one to tag it, you can hover near and finish right on top of where you hand in. At least that way, if you do get jumped, you can run through the gate to complete the quest and save having to re-do it.
Note: The Incandescent Fel Sparks are immune to all Fire attacks.
While transforming your Living Flare, you are also wanting to kill any Wrath Heralds you come across, as they drop the Demonic Blood required to activate the Fel Siphon. Every kill will yield the blood until you have a total of 4 vials in your inventory. Once you get the 4 vials, they no longer drop until you either use one vial or complete and turn in the quest. It's advisable to always carry at least one vial on you at all times for that off chance you get jumped by a Felblood Initiates unprepared. The Felblood Initiates are elite level 70's, however right clicking the Fel Siphon on them creates a channel that robs them of their powers - thus removing the elite tag. Elite ones are not only harder to kill, they also don't contribute towards your kill count and as such, are a waste of time. Hence, why you should always try to carry one blood on you at all times.

When you have the blood and are ready to kill them, target a Felblood Initiate, activate the Fel Siphon which is a channelled spell. Upon channeling do not move or you will cancel the spell otherwise you'll lose a reagent and have to kill more demons. Oddly enough, the hits from the Initiates won't break the spell, even if it slows the channeling so don't worry, it will work. After the Initiates wake from the stun they are no longer elite (or pretty) and you can easily dispatch of them. Repeat this 4 times to complete.
Tip: If the area is crowded and you are worried about other players taking your non-elite versions, pull with a spell, wait for it to tag and then use the Fel Siphon.

Skettis Daily Quests -- 2 quests -- 21 gold 9 silver
Skettis is the hidden capital of the Arakkoa, and one of the major secrets of Terokkar Forest. It is situated in Blackwind Valley in southeastern Terokkar Forest, only accessible to players who have a flying mount (or Druids who have learned Flight Form). There are two quests you can complete here, however you will need to complete some pre-requisites in order to complete them. And in order to unlock these dailies, you will need to be level 70 and have at least the basic flying mount, because Skettis is nestled in the top of a group of cliffs, and cannot be reached by mount or foot. In fact, even if you were summoned to Skettis, you would only be able to do one of the two daily quests, as Fires Over Skettis entails bombing eggs while in flight.
Prerequisites:
The first quest you need to complete is Threat from Above obtained from Yuula who is the Draenei located next to the Flight Master in Shattrath. You will need to be level 70 and have a flying mount in order to collect this quest.

Quest: Threat from Above
Objective: Slay any 20 Gordunni Ogres in the Barrier Hills
Reward: 7g 59s and 250 rep with Sha'tari Skyguard

If you mount up (flying) at Yuula, hold your space bar to fly straight up and face west - you should be able to see the Aldor rise. If you look to the right of there, you will just be able to make out the Barrier Hills, which is where you need to head towards to kill some Ogres!

The ones you need to kill are 70-72 non-elites, however be aware of the elite patrols that walk back and forth. Once you have killed your 20, return to Yuula and hand in. This will then give you the follow up quest: To Skettis! which requires you to take an Explosives Package to Sky Sergeant Doryn at Blackwind Landing. Take an in game flight to Terrokar Forest - Stonebreaker Hold (Horde) / Allerian Stronghold (Alliance). Once you land, mount up (flying) and make your way south-east to Blackwind Landing and Sky Sergeant Doryn. Just look for the brightly lit up landing pad...

Dailies!
Once you have completed the pre-requisites, you become eligible for two daily quests! Any time you wish to complete them, simply head directly to Skettis and Sky Sergeant Doryn.

Quest: Fires Over Skettis from Sky Sergeant Doryn
Objective: Seek out Monstrous Kaliri Eggs on the tops of Skettis dwellings and use the Skyguard Blasting Charges on them.
Reward: 11g 99s and 350 reputation with Sha'tari Skyguard

Quest: Escape from Skettis from a Skyguard Prisoner
Objective: Escort the Skyguard Prisoner to safety
Reward: 9g 10s and 150 reputation with Sha'tari Skyguard.

For 'Fires over Skettis', you have to fly around Skettis on your flying mount and right click the Skyguard Blasting Charges to drop bombs on groups of eggs which can be found on top of the buildings. It is a bit like the bombing run quests in Hellfire Peninsula (The two Gateways Murketh and Shaadraz, as well as the Abyssal Shelf) except that you do it from your own flying mount and can control where you go, rather than on a pre-determined path. As with the Abyssal Shelf bombing, you can hit multiple targets, in this case eggs, with one bomb.

The main thing to this is avoiding the Monstrous Kaliri that fly around the city. They are aggressive and if they do enough damage, they have a chance of dismounting you, especially if they hit from behind - most likely sending you on a fall to to almost certain death. They also have hamstring (although wouldn't 'wing' clip make more sense, since you are flying...?) that can stop you being able to get away. An epic mount helps with this, but if you're doing these quests in order to save gold for your epic mount, then that's not really useful to you.
Tip: Fly high out of bombing range and align yourself to where you want to bomb, but much too high. Right click your explosive and aim the eggs you want to bomb. When the birds fly under you and out of aggro range, use the X key to lower yourself into bombing range - when your targeting circle turns green, bomb the eggs quick and hit the spacebar the instant you're done casting to get out of agro altitude right away. Rinse and repeat.
The easiest place to do this quest without interruption is: 67,79 as there are six eggs there that respawn within 2 minutes. As everyone else tends to fly around looking for eggs, you will have a free shot at all six. Instead of flying around fighting with everyone else for eggs, stay there and await the next six - within 8 minutes you will complete the quest. Also, when bombing the eggs, besides the birds you also need to worry about some of the Arakkoa patting around the eggs, as they can cast shadowbolts so try not to get within their range.

While you are flying around, keep your eyes open for the Skyguard Prisoner. He is a static Spawn, and can spawn in a few places. Some confirmed locations to check are:
He sits in a cage located on the walkway that is midway up the trees. The best way to find him is create a macro that just says "/tar sky", and while you are doing the other quest just hit the macro every once-in-a-while and hopefully you will find him. He can spawn on either side of the lake, and is in an elevated hut inside a cage. His respawn time doesn't seem too bad, just keep in mind he has multiple spawns.

The escort self is very easy, and involves killing two spawned level 71 Skettis. Clear any surrounding trash on the tree ramp ways and any mobs near the base of the walkway leading to the ground. Once the quest is accepted the prisoner will wander around for a few seconds and then start heading towards the ramp and will eventually move across the bridge. Two Arakkoa will spawn once across the bridge and attack you and the Prisoner, they are easily dispatched. Once he gets to the bottom of the bridge he will stand there for a few seconds. The mission completes at the bottom of the ramp. Be aware that he will attack any mobs (even neutral) that are within range.

Once you have completed both quests, return to Sky Sergeant Doryn and hand in. Voila! Done!

Ogri'la Outlands Dailies -- 4 Quests -- 45g 7s
To be able to complete the Ogri'la daily quests, you must first be declared King of the Ogres by doing Mog’dorg the Wizened’s quest series.
Prerequisite
The quest line begins with V'eru who can be found in the center of Shattrath. He gives you the quest Speak with the Ogre which directs you to Grok down in the Lower City section of Shattrath City. He's the big Ogre near where the specialty Tailoring trainers are. You don't have to complete this step, you can go directly to Grok. It's only an additional 75s for this step...

When you speak to Grok, he gives you the quest Mog'dorg the Wizened which tells you to visit Mog'dorg the Wizened atop one of the towers just outside the Circle of Blood in the Blade's Edge Mountains. Take a flight to Evergrove and then make your way south west. Horde can also land at Thunderlord Stronghold and head north east. Handing in to Mog'dorg then allows you to collect three quests:

Quest: Grulloc Has Two Skulls
Objective: Retrieve Grulloc's Dragon Skull
Reward: 20g 20s

Quest: Maggoc's Treasure Chest
Objective: Retrieve Maggoc's Treasure Chest
Reward: 20g 20s

Quest: Even Gronn Have Standards
Objective: Retrieve Slaag's Standard
Reward: 20g 20s

For these quests, you will want help. All three are level 70 Elites and don't tickle. There is a trick to doing it solo, which relies on other people killing the mobs for you as you don't actually need to be in the group and doing the killing in order to complete the quests. When they die thy drop a container on the ground, usable by all who're on the quest. Unfortunately, the dailies have been out long enough now, that most people have completed these steps, so you might find yourself waiting around for a loooong time...
  • Grulloc: Location 61, 47. Static spawn, always at the same place. If you flew down to Mog'dorg from Evergrove, you might have noticed you flew over an area called the 'Cursed Hollow' ... that is where you will find Grulloc.
  • Maggoc: Maggoc patrols the area around Death's Door, see the map below for route.
  • Slaag: Can be found at location 12, 18 just outside of Shattrath inside of the large hut like building.

Once you have killed all three, head back to Mog'dorg the Wizened and hand in. But don't let go of your group just yet, there's more Gronn to be killed!

Quest: Grim(oire) Business
Objective: Retrieve Vim'gol's Vile Grimoire
Reward: 20g 20s

The story goes that Skulloc Soulgrinde was trained by an ogre warlock known as Vim'gol the Vile and now keeps himself hidden away, but there is a way to coax him forth. Vim'gol must be summoned by yourself, and four others, each standing within a different fire ring at his circle around location 77,31 in Blades Edge Mountain. (Map) The event takes place in a ring near the bridge to Netherstorm where there are five small circles of fire around the edge of the ring. When characters stand in the circles, red lines form between them so each occupied circle is linked by a red line to the other occupied circles. When all five circles are filled, the red lines form a pentagram, and Vim'gol, an ogre warlock, is summoned.

Vim'gol will pause for a couple seconds and complain, during which time he is invulnerable. He will then attack whoever was the last character to step into a circle. He attacks with a heavy melee hit and a Shadow Bolt Volley that hits everyone nearby. A tank, a healer, and some solid damage-dealers are highly recommended for this encounter.

At 50% health, Vim'gol announces that he's going to grow large and smash everything. He then runs to the center of the ring and channels a "growth" spell for 10 seconds. If five characters get in their circles and re-form the pentagram, it will interrupt his cast, and he will not grow. If it completes, he will be very large, dish out substantially more damage, and likely wipe the attempt.

When he dies, a container appears at his feet. Loot it for the quest item. Some tips:
  • Have your tank enter the fire last. That way, he'll head directly for the tank.

  • Healers, ranged damage-dealers, and the tank should not move until the the growth spell is dispelled. If all five characters simply stay in their circles after the event starts, the growth will never happen. Only melee damage dealers need to run around.

  • Everyone will be taking damage. Use potions and bandages to relieve pressure on the healer. Five living characters are required to stop the growth buff, so make sure you're alive at least that long.

  • Since it's an outdoor event, characters outside the group can assist with healing and damage-dealing and make the event considerably easier.

  • Make sure that you are not standing in the circles of fire when Vim'gol dies! If you are, he will be instantly summoned again, and at full health! You can still loot his quest item if this happens, though.

Quest: Into the Soulgrinder
Objective: Retrieve Skulloc's Soul
Reward: 28g 38s

This the final step of the prerequisites. Head to Skulloc's location, 60,24 (map) and right click the book. This will cause ghosts to spawn and try to interrupt the 'casting' . The ghost mobs are immune to all forms of fear with the exception of the book provided by the quest, so set up a use rotation with your group as everybody should have the book.

When no attackers near the altar, hammer down whatever ghost is nearby. Once more than one mob has rushed the altar, use the book to fear them away. Watch for clusters of casters who can be easily disrupted by any AoE ability (as a warrior I used demoralizing and thunderclap), although if you get 5 or 6 of them on you, a book use will need to be in the pipe before they wear you down.

After keeping them in chaos for 2 minutes, Skulloc will become fully formed on the hilltop above you. You will be out of combat for a short time, so bandage and drink quickly and engage him. No special abilities on Skulloc that we noticed, just tank & spank. The only danger is being down on health/mana from the prelude event.

Like all the mobs before him, when he dies, a container appears at his feet.

After completing the quest, your are crowned Ogre King/Queen (depending on character gender) and a large amount of Ogres bow to you. try doing different emotes on them, for example, if you /kiss one, it says "Aw, me not think it work out between us."

Dailies!
After all that, you can now do more dailies!! There are three quests available with Neutral reputation, however you will need to reach Honored before being able to accept the fourth.

Quest: Bomb Them Again!
Objective: Bomb 15 Fel Cannonball Stacks
Reward: 11g 99s, 15 Apexis Shards 500 reputation with Ogri'la and 500 reputation with Sha'tari Skyguard

The trick to this quest is to not do it all on your flying mount. First, create a hotkey for your flying mount if you don't already have one, and another for the Skyguard Bombs, and have then easy to reach - say 3 and 4. Run to a marker and press your flying mount hotkey. As you are summoning your flying mount, click your bombs and position your green AoE circle on the Cannonball Stacks. Right before you mount your flying mount, click to throw your Happy Bombs, this will cause you to launch your happy bomb and mount your flying mount. As soon as you launch your bomb, click to Dismount your flying mount.

You will receive credit for destroying your target, suffer no damage to gear, and all with no worries over missing your target by trying to do it while still flying. This is the easiest way I have found to do this quest. There's even a video of it:

Quest: Wrangle More Aether Rays!
Objective: Wrangle 5 Aether Rays
Reward: 11g 99s, 15 Apexis Shards 350 reputation with Ogri'la and 350 reputation with Sha'tari Skyguard

Aether rays are passive beast-type creatures found atop the western and northern plateaus of Blade's Edge Mountains: Vortex Pinnacle, Bash'ir Landing, and Crystal Spine. They can be found floating slightly above the ground or flying high in the air (these will need to be brought down with a ranged attack). When their health is lowered to 40% of their maximum, they will emote with a message, "The Aether Ray appears ready to be wrangled" This is your cue to use the provided Wrangling Rope to wrangle the creature. Do this five times to complete the quest.

At any point in time while working on this quest, you can return to Skyguard Khatie and speak with her and she will automatically collect any wrangled nether rays you currently have. If you take too long, the rays you already wrangled, will disappear from your leash. But have no fear, the game keeps track of how many you have, so you do still get the count towards 5 rays... Also, if you die while wrangling rays, the ones that you already picked up will still count towards your total.
Tip: Be careful when using DoTs as you do not want to accidentally kill them... that doesn't count towards your total.

Quest: The Relic's Emanation
Objective: Gain Apexis Emanations from an Apexis Relic.
Reward: 9g 10s, 15 Apexis Shards and 350 reputation with Ogri'la

If you plan on doing this quest regularly, I would suggest looking into something like the Ogri'Lazy - Addons - Curse add-on. The aim of this quest is to watch a sequence of lights that you then have to repeat back. There are multiple ways you can keep track of the sequence:
  • Use a pen and paper and write down the colours: R - G - B - Y
  • Use a pen and paper and write it down in directional form: N - E - W - S
  • Or, in number form: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4
  • Say it, whisper it, spam your guild with it...
The basic idea is to keep track of the sequence, then repeat it back correctly. Getting it wrong does have a price - your life. But don't panic, when you die from crystal , you don't' suffer from durability penalty. You can also get buffs from completing this quest:
  1. Apexis Vibrations - 1 Hour Buff. Gained by completing 6 sequences.
  2. Apexis Emanations - 1.5 Hour Buff. Gained by completing 7 sequences.
  3. Apexis Enlightenment - 2 Hour Buff. Gained by completing 8 sequences.
They all give: Movement speed increased by 15%. Only works in Blade's Edge Plateaus. There are four Apexis Monuments around the Ogri'la section of the zone. You want to use one of the four smaller shards, not the main one in the middle. Kill any mobs near there as the respawn rate is extremely slow - well, at least slow enough for you to be able to complete the quest. The locations to do it at are:
  • 28, 46
  • 33, 51
  • 31, 63
  • 27, 68
Quest: Banish More Demons (Honored)
Objective: Banish 15 demons at Forge Camp: Wrath or Forge Camp: Terror
Reward: 11g 99s, 15 Apexis Shards, Kronk's Grab Bag, and 350 reputation with Ogri'la

A simple kill quest. Basically you open the portal which lasts for 3 minutes, with the gem (which requires an Apexis Shard) near the demons. Then you have to kill the demons near the portal. You don't have to open one per mob, just open one and keep pulling mobs back to it. For this quest tapping is done by portal - the first portal to tag a mob and remain in range till it dies gives credit to its owner. If someone is killing one without a portal you can snag their kill by dropping a portal. So theoretically you could have two portals up, kill one mob, and have two different people get credit for a kill, including two players from opposite factions.

Netherwing Daily Quests -- 10 quests -- 133 gold 37 silver
The Netherwing dailies were introduced in Patch 2.1 as a way to gain reputation for the exalted Netherdrake flying mount. To do these you must have be neutral or higher reputation with the Netherwing (one starts at Hated). The quest chain is quite long, and as such I will be doing a separate guide for that information shortly. For now however, you can read it up on WoWhead - the chain starts with Kindness. For this guide, I will only be listing the dailies you can obtain, not the prerequisites.

You also 300 riding skill - ie 5k gold - to begin the Netherwing daily quests. You don’t need an epic mount, but you do need the riding skill for one. Note: You only need normal flying skill/mount for the prerequisites.

In general they are a little more difficult than the other daily quests but their close proximity to their quest givers and one another means you can complete several in a fairly short amount of time. They’re still popular quests because you need Exalted Netherwing faction to buy a Nether Drake mount, but I would suggest that if you’re not chasing the faction/mount there are quicker and more fun ways to grind the equivalent amount of gold every day. However, once you’ve hit Friendly reputation, some rather fun quests open up and the dailies from Friendly onwards are much more enjoyable. There are also a lot of Netherwing dailies: by the time you hit Revered you’ll have access to eight Netherwing daily quests, plus an extra one if you’re a miner, skinner or herbalist.

The quests are given by various NPCs at the Netherwing Ledge, an island full of Dragonmaw orcs and their associates, to the south of Shadowmoon Valley proper. Most of the questgivers are around 66,86. You’ll be disguised as a male Dragonmaw fel orc, and your mount will be disguised as a Netherdrake. Watch out though; some of the patrolling Dragonmaw can see through your disguise.

Note: There are no images for these quests as I am not yet done completing the Netherwing chain, images will be added later.

Quest: A Slow Death
Objective: Poison 12 Dragonmaw Peon Camps
Reward: 11g 99s and 250 reputation with Netherwing

This quest is two part. First you have to gather 12 Fel Glands from wildlife in Shadowmoon Valley (not on the Dragonmaw island, on the main continent), and then you use those to poison camps of fel orc peons working for the Dragonmaw. You can gather the Fel Glands anywhere in Shadowmoon Valley, off all kinds of wildlife (boars, diemetradons, etc).

This quest is the most conducive to grouping of the Neutral->Friendly series. All you need is a total of 12 Fel Glands for your entire group. (For example, if you have 5 and your buddy has 7, you're good to go.)

Once you’ve got 12, head back to the Netherwing Ledge and have one (and only one) person use Yarzill's Mutton near a working group of peons; they’re generally gathered around clusters of the big aqua crystals. The peons will wander over, eat the meat, and die. Make sure that you only choose camps where all the peons are actually mining the crystals, if they are just standing there they will not eat the mutton and you will have to farm up another fel gland to replace the one you just lost.

Everyone in the group who is nearby will get credit. Do not have more than one person use the Mutton per camp. The peons will only eat the first one, so you won't get credit for the second one and you'll have to farm another Fel Gland.
Tip: Watch out for the 72 elites that patrol around the area because they hurt.
Bug Notes: There can be a bug where there is one standing around while the others are working. The "event" that occurs to give you credit for the camp is only started when ALL the peons in that camp (two or three of them) have run up to the mutton. If you place the mutton to close to one of the peons in the group, all the other peons will run towards the mutton except for the one that's already "close enough." Unfortunately, it seems that the "I'm close enough" check doesn't trigger the "I'm at the meat" check, and that peon never moves. The other two peons will typically clump on top of that peon, creating the "bugged groups" that you often see.

Solution: Make sure there's a decent gap between any given peon and the mutton you drop. You can stand a few yards away and still get them all to run. Just don't be hasty and drop mutton on top of a peon, because that will probably result in the bug.

Quest: The Not-So-Friendly Skies...
Objective: Recover 10 Netherwing Relics
Reward: 11g 99s and 250 reputation with Netherwing

Netherwing Relics drop from Dragonmaw Transporters and there are only three spots you can do this - the place where they land, and 2 little flying islands where they pass over.. Only in these three places you are able to pull them and it's around 74,76. They spawn always on the same place so just take your position and keep it. They will respawn fast so it's kinda a sequent pull. A good place to do this is at the wooden ramp on the northern edge of the Ridge towards the east side. Transporters take-off and land here frequently, so it's a good farming spot (if you can get to it first).

There are two elite drakonids guarding the platform who can and will crush you if aggroed. Attacks on any Transporter on the platform will aggro the drakonids. For this reason, I recommend recommend ignoring arrivals and focusing on departures. The incoming Transporters are tricky to target and hit before they get too close to the guards.

The departing Transporters are fairly easy once you learn their routine. They'll spawn at the back of the platform, walk to the northern edge, pause slightly, and then take off. As soon as the Transporter is airborne, you can safely pull them without aggroing the guards.

The Transporter moves fairly quickly, so you'll need to be ready to get aggro before he gets out range. Don't worry; the timing is pretty easy to master. My rogue friend never had a problem hitting him with a thrown knife. As a mage, I found Fire Blast didn't give me sufficient range, but Scorch or Fireball worked just fine. (Fireball is a little trickier because of the longer cast time, but solution is to start casting Fireball before the Transporter is airborne.)

One last issue for long-range nukers: be careful not to overdo it while the Transporter is airborne. It is possible to kill the Transporter in mid-air and, given your proximity to the edge, the corpse may not be lootable. The best part about this location: a new Transporter spawns every ~25 seconds, so you're assured a steady stream of mobs (plus a stack of corpses at your feet).
Tip: Their Aimed Shot HURTS! If you have a Felguard, take the intercept ability of auto cast and Adjust your camera so you can watch them fight, when you see them stop their axe animation and pull back their bow use your Felguard to stun them.
Quest: The Great Netherwing Egg Hunt
Objective: Recover a Netherwing Egg
Reward: 18g 28s and 350 reputation with Netherwing

(( Not technically a 'daily', however it can be repeated every day.)) These seem to spawn at certain locations, though I am not sure how long the respawn time is. There is respawn behind the two elite drakes near the 'dock' where Netherwing Transporters land and fly off from, however, getting it requires one person to distract the drakes because it is too close to them to open up without aggroing.

They can also drop off the Nethermine Flayers, though apparently the drop rate can be quite rare most of the time. I have also seen some spawn at different places in the cave, but finding them is tough since the mines are so camped most of the time. Note that if you are killing in a group and one of these drop from a mob, or you 'open' a spawned egg, you will need to roll need/greed on the eggs. A spawned egg is considered to be like a treasure chest in that you CANNOT open it up if you're in combat. You have to be OUT of combat to open it up and get the egg.

Herbalists and Miners can also loot eggs from Netherdust bushes or Nethercite Deposit.
Tip: If you're after reputation, this quest can be an excellent way to raise it as you can turn in as many as you like in one day. The eggs do stack, however you only get the gold reward once on the FIRST turn in, and any eggs turned in after that only reward you 250 rep.
Quest: Netherwing Crystals
Objective: Collect 30 Netherwing Crystals.
Reward: 11g 99s and 250 reputation with Netherwing

These crystals drop from essentially any mob on Netherwing Ridge. Above ground, you'll find nether rays lurking around the edges of the Ridge and flayers on the mountains further in. The flayers are more densely packed for easy farming, but that also makes them popular with your fellow grinders. The nether rays tend to be less over-farmed and the respawn rate is decent enough to keep a solo player from having too much downtime. Only risk is that some of the nether ray packs are near paths of the patrolling elite drakonids. These guys have ~100K health and hit hard, so best just to avoid them.

I found less competition in the underground mine, though that may change when more folks may find out about it. On the other hand, it's much less convenient to get to since you can't fly, so maybe folks won't bother.

You'll have to go fairly deep into the mine to find mobs. You'll see slimes and worms mostly in the central tunnel as you enter. Further in you'll get access to some side tunnels which feature flayers and ravagers. Way in the back you'll find murkbloods (hostile, unlike the friendly ones at the mine entrance). I was with a skinner, so we focused mostly on the flayers and ravagers and had decent results.

You can only turn in 40 Crystals per day, but you can collect as many as you can carry. Thus, you can get a jump on the next day's turn-in by farming longer.
Tip: This quest can take a while as the drop rate can be frustratingly low, however the grey items that drop can yield some very handy additional gold!
Quest: Netherdust Pollen (Herbalists)
Objective: Gather 40 Netherdust Pollen.
Reward: 11g 99s and 250 reputation with Netherwing

Quest: Nethercite Ore (Miners)
Objective: Gather 40 Nethercite Ore.
Reward: 11g 99s and 250 reputation with Netherwing

Quest: Nethermine Flayer Hide (Skinners)
Objective: Gather 35 Nethermine Flayer Hides
Reward: 11g 99s and 250 reputation with Netherwing

These quests are for players with gathering professions only, and only if you have reached 350 skill. If you have multiple gathering professions you may only complete one of these per day. So if you have two of those professions, you can only choose to do one of the quests - you can not do the Pollen and Ore for example. These quests have no affect on the Netherwing Crystals quest however.

Netherdust Pollen can be dropped by Netherwing Rays and found in Sludge-covered Objects, however the easiest way to gather them is simply from the Netherdust Bushes. The bushes grow all over the Netherwing Ledge. If you have the option of the pollen or the ore, I suggest taking the ore quest - Not only is there a chance you will get a netherwing egg from the nodes, they also seem to be quite liberal with rare gems and motes of fire and earth.

Nethercite Ore can be dropped by Nethermine Bursters, Ravagers and Flayers, Overmine Flayers and Crazed Murkblood Miners. It can also be contained in a Sludge-covered Object, however like the pollen, it is easiest to collect from Nethercite Deposits. These too are found all over Netherwing Ledge. Note that you can only Mine these Deposits if you are in the Dragonmaw Illusion.

Nethermine Flayer Hides can be dropped by Nethermine Bursters, Ravagers and Flayers and Overmine Flayers which is handy, since that's what they are also skinned from. You will find these located within the Netherwing mines. There are two entrances into the mine, though both entrance paths join together in the mines. Located towards the back of the mine, when you enter, follow the mine cart tracks on the left and you will eventually come to a junction in the tracks, you can stay left to find a few flayers, or go right and follow the track that loops north, into the main area full of dead miners and flayers.

Also, kill the blood of draenor mobs as they drop encrusted objects that can be opened that can sometimes contain flayer hides, netherdust pollen, and other stuff that's mostly useless. For skinners the drop rate of the hide is quite low, average rate is roughly 12-18% - some players have commented that it can take upwards of two hours to collect all your hides! On the plus side flayers drop plenty of Netherwing crystals and the occasional Netherwing egg along with cloth and coin. Luckily, not many Warlocks are Skinners...

Friendly Reputation opens up:

Quest: Overseeing and You: Making the Right Choices
Objective: Collect 10 pieces of Knothide Leather and 1 Hardened Hide of Tyrantus
Reward: 11g 99s and 250 reputation with Netherwing

This is not actually the daily quest, but is the precursor which is available at Friendly reputation. Knothide Leather can be purchased from your local Auction House, or simply ask in guild or check your friends list. The Hardened Hide of Tyrantus, oddly enough, drops off Tyrantus, a big non-elite devilsaur-like dinosaur in Eco-Dome Farfield in Netherstorm - location 46,10. You don't need skinning in order to obtain it. ( Map )
Tip: Tyrantus is the favourite kind of mob to fight as a Warlock - he's fearable! Note however that he also fears so you should probably clear around a little or risk getting feared into 2 or 3 other mobs that hang around near him.
Once you are done, return to Chief Overseer Mudlump and hand in. This then opens up the daily quest:

Quest: The Booterang: A Cure For The Common Worthless Peon
Objective: Discipline 20 lazy Dragonmaw Peons
Reward: 11g 99s and 350 reputation with Netherwing

This quest is a lot of fun! This lazy peons are everywhere at Netherwing Ledge and can be either:
  • Sleeping peons - They will be lying near a camp with purple “Zzzzz”s floating up. Whap! Booterang!
  • Dazed peons - They will be walking in confused-looking circles near a camp with a few symbols over their head like the scatter shot effect. Boot to the head.
  • Angry red aggressive peons - They’re not going to take it any more! These peons are large, red, hostile and attackable. A swift boot upside the head will cure that though.
On a heavy populated servers, finding a lazy Peon before the competition can be a challenge. So a macro can come in handy for this quest. Something you might want to use is:
/target Disobedient Dragonmaw Peon
/use Booterang
/cleartarget

or

/cleartarget
/target Disobedient Dragonmaw Peon
/script SetRaidTarget("target",1)
/use Booterang

The SetRaidTarget line helps, when you are in the canyon, (target icons are visible behind walls) but you have to be group leader... You can hit the unruly peons with the booterang while you are mounted (flying), and you don't need to stick around for the result. just let 'er rip, then move on. This is a VERY fun quest!

Quest: Picking Up The Pieces...
Objective: Recover 15 Nethermine Cargo crates
Reward: 18g 28s and 350 reputation with Netherwing

Like the profession quests, these crates can be dropped by Nethermine Bursters, Ravagers and Flayers, Overmine Flayers and Crazed Murkblood Miners, or looted in the same cave you find the mobs. The best place to gather for this quest is alongside the Flayers and Ravagers as you can do another daily quest which involves killing them. Very easy to spot, they look like mine trolleys heaped with various colours of ore.

If you’re only going to do one daily, this should be it: it pays 18 gold, rather than the standard 12, and it’s dead easy. There are a few rooms that are full of carts and best for gathering them. I can’t describe the path to get there, but look out for the room with multiple trolley-tracks up high and a whole lot of oozes and crust-bursters at ground level.

Quest: Dragons are the Least of Our Problems
Objective: Kill 15 Nethermine Flayers and 5 Nethermine Ravagers.
Reward: 11g 99s and 350 reputation with Netherwing

This quest is obtained from The Dragonmaw Foreman, who can be found just inside the Netherwing Mines, between the two entrances. The Flayers and Ravagers are inside the mine, and you can team this quest up with collecting the cargo crates. The ravagers used to be quite a pain to kill, however patch 2.4 upped their spawn rate, so it's a lot easier now. Just run around killing these and looting your crates until you have completed both.

Honored Reputation opens up:

Quest: Disrupting the Twilight Portal
Objective: Kill 20 Deathshadow Agents
Reward: 11g 99s and 500 reputation with Netherwing

Once you hit Honoured, Morg’hor gives the quest “Disrupting the Twilight Portal”, for which you have to fly all the way out to the Twilight Ridge (only reachable by flying) on the western side of Nagrand. When you get to the Twilight Ridge, park yourself in the center of the big stone archway, at ground level - you're looking for a big purple arc. This is the only safe place to do this quest, unless you have a full group that can cope with nasty 71 elites patrolling around. Trying to pull from anywhere else while dodging all the patrolling elites (various 71 elite ogres and a gigantic 73 elite eredar called Reth’hedron the Subduer) is not worth your time, blood pressure or repair bills.

Stand at the floor of the Big Stone Archway, and pull the mobs that are clustered around the archway channeling spells. None of the elites will come within agro range, unless you get a runner, and the mobs can generally be pulled singly (or, at most, a few pairs). There are about 10 mobs around the archway, so you’ll need to wait for respawn. You can cut down your wait time by killing a few of the warlocks that are grouped around the metal items to the sides of the archway, but pull carefully - you’ll need to line-of-sight them around the side of the pillar to get them to come in. You need to get them to run to the archway, or else they’ll pull the elite ogre when he paths by.

I would only suggest doing this quest if you are after the Netherwing faction. People, generally, are doing these daily quests for two reasons: money and reputation. This quest is given in Shadowmoon Valley, but is performed in Nagrand (on the western side no less), which is completely on the other side of the Outland world map. Moreover, it is not as easy as the other available daily quests such as bombing runs (skettis/ogrila), escort, the mining/pollen quests, relic emanations, etc, because several level 72 elites are patrolling the area. If you're simply after money, this is not the best quest to do to farm it.

Revered Reputation opens up:
This comes when you hit Revered; there’s separate ones for Aldor and Scryers.

Quest: The Deadliest Trap Ever Laid - Aldor Version / Scryer Version
Objective: Lead an attack against the Sanctum of the Stars (Scryers) or Altar of Sha’tar (Aldor).
Reward: 18g 28s and 500 reputation with Netherwing

This is a group quest, recommending three people although it can be done with two, but it can soloed, especially for us Warlocks. Affliction spec is an easier way - Dot, Dot, DOT!! More DOTS!! The battle takes place literally 3 steps from the graveyard so it isn't hard to just walk over and rez if you die, and dying does not fail the quest.

Once there you talk to a few NPC's then start an attack. You will have 8 non elite NPC's assisting you and 1 elite NPC, your goal is to keep the elite guy alive while fending off all the Dragonmaw. There are several waves of these guys so just try to DPS them down as best you can. You can let the NPCs take most of the damage, just try to kill as many as you can while minimizing your damage taken. You can hide behind the wall and pillars of the aldor base when you need to bandage or even eat.

There is also another trick, although I can con confirm if this still works:
  1. Attack a few of the Dragonmaw raiders once they show up. Run back into the outpost once you’ve drawn some aggro and find the Flight Master.
  2. Stand exactly where the Flight Master is standing, heal yourself if you can. When the Dragonmaw raiders shoot you with Multi-shot, they’ll hit the Flight Master, aggro him/her and incur the wrath of the Gryphons/Wyverns and tear the Dragonmaw to shreds!
  3. Repeat as necessary.
If you have Siphon Life, that will come in very handy as you can aggro more raiders at a time to be killed.

General Outland Daily Quests -- 5 quests -- 63 gold 97 silver
These are accepted from several different NPC’s on the Isle of Quel’Danas and in the Outlands and in general have a higher travel time associated with them than most of the other dailies. To make it easier, you can do them while doing other daily quests in the same areas needed for completing these, saving you any additional travel time. Many of these reward a crate of Shattered Sun Supplies that usually contains a green item but sometimes may also have a Badge of Justice.

Quest: Ata’mal Armaments
Objective: Produce 5 Cleansed Ata'mal Metal
Reward: 18g 28s, choice of Blessed Weapon Coating or Righteous Weapon Coating and 350 reputation with Shattered Sun Offensive

Quest is obtained from Smith Hauthaa on the Isle of Quel'Danas, next to the Anvil. He's the same guy that gives you the Don't Stop Now.... quest where you need to steal the Ore from the Darkspine Myrmidon's. If you plan on doing this quest often, you can collect it at the same time you do the SSO quests. For this quest, you want to head to the Ata'mal Terrace in eastern Shadowmoon Valley (70.36) which is now overrun by fel orcs. The fel orcs drop the Ata'mal Armaments which you bring back to Smith Hauthaa's anvil at the Sun's Reach Armory to clense.

Beware of the patrolling mobs and Shadowmoon Eye of Kilrogg which may pull Shadowsworn Drakonid and/or another orc unwillingly. The best place to dodge them is to stick to the walls where you won't pull the patrolling mobs.

Quest: Maintaining the Sunwell Portal
Objective: Obtain 10 Smuggled Mana Cells
Reward: 10g 10s, 250 reputation with Shattered Sun Offensive and Shattered Sun Supplies

Obtained from Exarch Nasuun on the Terrace of Light in Shattrath City, this requires you to head to Bash'ir Landing which sits atop the northwestern corner of the Blade's Edge Mountains, far to the north. The first thing you need to do is start killing the ethereal in the area until a Bash'ir Phasing Device drops, this allows you to see the hidden mana cells. Once you are phased the normal Ethereal mobs cannot see or attack you, and vice-versa, but be aware you will also be vulnerable to Phase Wyrms. The Phase Wyrms a great source of Motes of Mana. There doesn't seem to be a time limit once you are phased.

You will loose the buff if you log out, leave the area or die. You can however mount up on your flying mount after you've used the phasing device, and as long as you stay in the area you won't phase back in. It makes the quest a lot easier as you can avoid killing any phase wyrms. Keep in mind that when you phase back to normal reality, you will very likely be surrounded by ethereals who will aggro as soon as the phasing is complete.
Tip: Save yourself some time after you've collected all the mana cells and debuff the phasing, kill a few more etherals and get a new Phasing Device. Which you use the next time.
Note: If you are susceptible to motion sickness, I advise skipping this quest.

Quest: Sunfury Attack Plans
Objective: Capture the Sunfury Attack Plans
Reward: 10g 10s, 250 reputation with Shattered Sun Offensive and Shattered Sun Supplies

Lord Torvos located near the flightmaster in Shattrath wants you to go to Netherstorm and capture the Sunfury Attack Plans. Any Sunfury Blood Elf in Netherstorm can drop these plans and drop rate seems to be fairly high for the quest item. Kill until it drops, then return it to Torvos, easy. You can do this quest after the Throne of Kil'jaeden ones as it's just a short flight away. From the throne, just fly north to Manaforge Coruu and kill some Blood Elves there. Alternatively, combine it with the Mana Cells quest as they are also not too far from each other.

Quest: The Multiphase Survey
Objective: Take 6 Multiphase Readings
Reward: 9g 10s and 250 reputation with Shattered Sun Offensive

See Harbinger Haronem located at 61,50, Just directly south of the flight point by the bridge in Shattrath City to collect this quest. After you have collected the quest and have the Multiphase Spectrographic Goggles, take a flight to Nagrand. This is one of the easiest dailies around. To do this quest, you must find the red clouds and use the goggles to capture their essence. The red clouds can be found anywhere in the Nagrand Spirit Fields, usually the closer to the middle the better your chance of finding one. Simply use your flying mount until you find them, which is easy as you can spot them 10 miles away. Swoop down, dismount and right click the goggles to take a reading. Re-mount, fly up and find the next one. Easy!

People have complained that they are not able to see the clouds. This is caused by equipping the goggles in another zone (Shatt usually), and then going to the Spirit Fields. Simply re-equip your goggles and you should be able to see the clouds just fine. Unfortunately, another problem when it comes to not being able to see the clouds is for people with any form of red-green colorblindness which brings added difficulty seeing the red clouds over the green grass in Nagrand. Unfortunately, at this point in time, there is not much to be done about that I'm sorry.

Note: In order to take the readings, you must click the goggles (that you have already equipped), when near one of those clouds, don't waste your time trying to click / right click the cloud.

Quest: Gaining the Advantage
Objective: Collect 8 Nether Residue
Reward: 16g 39s, Major Rejuvenation Potion and 250 reputation with Shattered Sun Offensive

Collected from Emissary Mordin in Shattrath City, this quest is only available to herbalists, miners and skinners. All you need to do is collect 8 Nether Reside, and the best part about this is you can do it while running around for your other quests, AND farm a lot of herbs/ore/skins at the same time! They come from any BC introduced herb, vein or skinnable creature. So collect the quest when you start your day and hand it in at the end. Easy!

PvP Daily Quests -- 4 quests -- 35 gold 97 silver
For those that enjoy PvP, you have not been forgotten! This set of quests offers an alternative to the standard quest grind by allowing players to be rewarded for battling each other in both battlegrounds and in world PvP. This can be a refreshing change of pace, especially for players who are not very interested in the PvE aspect of the game.

Quest: Call to Arms: Battlegrounds (Random)
Objective: WIN!!
Reward: 11g 99s and 419 Honor

Accepted near the battlemasters in each major city this daily requires you to win a randomly selected battleground. The battleground changes each day. The reward also varies depending on your level. If you're not yet level 70, you are rewarded with experience over gold, and the amount depends on your level - as does the amount of honor rewarded.

Quest: Halaa! Enemies, Old and New (Horde), In Defense of Halaa (Alliance)
Objective: Defeat 10 enemy players in Halaa
Reward: 11g 99s and 209 Honor

Just as the quest states - kill 10 of the opposing faction. If you're not yet level 70, you are rewarded with experience over gold, and the amount depends on your level - as does the amount of honor rewarded. Minimum level required to start doing this daily is 64. Horde can collect the quest from Karrtog who can be found in Garadar (location 53,36). Alliance needs to see Lakoor in Telaar (location 56,73).

Quest: Hellfire Fortifications - Horde / Alliance
Objective: Capture the Overlook, the Stadium and Broken Hill
Reward: 3x Mark of Thrallmar or 3x Mark of Honor Hold and 150 reputation with matching faction.

To Capture a tower you must wait by the flag. When you are close enough a meter will show up letting you know the capture timer.

Since most servers seem to have more Alliance than Horde, these towers are almost always blue all of the time. Every time I have gone to capture them, Alliance seem to come out of the wood work, although the funny part is that they were not coming to kill me - they wee coming to complete their version of the quest. Your side can not already control the base in order to get credit. It must not belong to your faction to get the credit, despite the fact that you can stand there and let the timer count down. If you do this and your faction already is in control, you don't get credit. So Alliance need Horde to come and complete this quest so they can too. It's only considered 'capturing' it if the bar was originally in the gray (neutral) area.

Also, the quest can not be completed in a raid group, so if there is a battle going on, don't join the raid group if trying to do this quest. You only need a minimum level of 60 in order do begin this daily, so you can actually complete it while you're running around questing for some added honor and experience - the amount depending on your level of course. The locations are:
  • The Overlook: 39,48
  • The Stadium: 35,50
  • Broken Hill: 40,57
Tip: You will need to complete Forward Base: Reaver's Fall before this daily becomes available.
Quest: Spirits of Auchindoun - Horde / Alliance
Objective: Secure a Spirit Tower in the Bone Wastes
Reward: 11g 99s and 209 Honor

This quest is much easier than the Hellfire one as you only need to take one of the four bone towers in the Bone Wastes during the PvP world event that occurs every six hours, both Horde and Alliance should be able to complete this quest. This quest can also be completed while in a raid group, unlike the Halaa option, which makes it much easier to complete.

There are five spirit towers visible around Auchindoun when the six hour counter runs out - they are roughly 10 o'clock, 12:30, 2, 4 and 6 o'clock positions. There is a buff if you cap all 5 called Blessing of Auchindoun - "Experience gain increased by 5 % Damage increased by 5 % Allows the capture of Spirit Shards". You can be on your flying mount if you don't want to get actively involved in the PvP, but you have to be touching the ground to cap.

Converting a Tower
  1. Flag yourself for PvP by rightt clicking on your picture and click enable. On a PvP server you don't have to do anything different.
  2. Stay within 20yds or so of the tower while flagged and it will begin converting to your side. Remember, if you are flying, you must land. You can land on top of the tower and get credit, but it can be tricky.
The process takes roughly one minute to complete, but the time reduces by 50% for every other player of your faction standing in range and flagged. Any player of any level will convert the tower. If an opposing faction player is alive and in range while flagged the conversion will stop until he leaves range or is dead. This operates the exact same way as the Towers in Eye of the Storm battleground.

Horde collect the quest from Exorcist Vaisha at Stonebreaker Hold, Alliance collect from Exorcist Sullivan at the Allerrian Stronghold.

Dungeon Daily Quests -- 2 quests -- 40 gold 99 silver
The Dungeon involved changes each day and can involve any dungeon introduces in The Burning Crusade. You obtain the quests from Nether-Stalker Mah'duun (Normal) and Wind Trader Zhareem (Heroic) who can be found in the Lower City section of Shattrath.

Normal Quests:
These reward 1 x Ethereum Prison Key to unlock ethereum prisons, 16 gold 39 silver , and 250 reputation with the Consortium and the faction associated with the dungeon. Note: It is possible to complete a normal mode daily while doing a heroic mode dungeon, for example completing Wanted: Arcatraz Sentinels while doing Arcatraz in heroic.

Heroic Quests:
These reward 2 x Badges of Justice, 24 gold 60 silver , and +350 reputation with the Consortium and the faction associated with the dungeon. Note: The two Badges of Justice from the heroic daily is in addition to the Badges of Justice that drop from the instances.

Tradeskill Daily Quests -- 2 quests -- 7 gold 59 silver
These daily quests require some proficiency in a tradeskill. The quest offered changes each day. The rewards are somewhat lacking but they can sometimes contain rare items or recipes.

Cooking
Daily cooking quests handed out by The Rokk in Shattrath City. The quest is random each day (although will be the same for everyone on the same server) and requires 275 Cooking and a level 70 character. Each quest involves travel across Outland to different locations, two are only accessible with a flying mount. The four possible quests are:
  1. Manalicious requires you to collect 15 Mana Berries from the Eco-Domes in Netherstorm
The mana berries have a very large amount of spawn points that are close to each other (no need to remount), so it doesn't take long at all to gather the amount required. Gathering them at Eco-Dome Midrealm should take no time at all. They also spawn in Eco-dome Fairfield which can actually be handy as you can kill the raptors while you're there and get raptor ribs for one of the other versions of this daily quest.

Tip: If you have the herbalism skill, these will show on your mini map.

  2. Revenge is Tasty requires you to cook up some Kaliri Stew using Rokk's cooking pot
To cook up the Kaliri Stew, you need to first cook up 3 x Warp Burgers and locate 1 x Giant Kaliri Wing. You can either purchase the Warp Burgers from the Auction House, or make them yourself. It's easy to enough to make yourself - simply head to Skettis and kill some Blackwind Warp Chaser for Warped Flesh which you then convert into the Burgers. While you are there, you can kill some Monstrous Kaliri (birds) for the Giant Kaliri Wing! Head back to Rokk's pot and whip it all up. Yummo!

Tip: Best way to do this quest is to combine it with the daily sha'tari quest "Fires over Skettis". Aggro from the birds is guaranteed during that quest.

  3. Soup for the Soul requires you to cook up some Spiritual Soup using Rokk's cooking pot
In order to cook the Spiritual Soup you need to go to the Ancestral Grounds in south west of Nagrand, between Forge Camp Fear and Oshu'gun. First, you need to make four Roasted Clefthoof which is done by killing the Cleafhoof easily found around Nagrand. Once you have enough, head to the Ancestral Grounds and the bonfire that can be used for cooking within the complex at 25,59. Open your cooking skill and cook 4 roasted clefthoof. Then click the cooking pot near the bonefire given by the NPC to create the Spiritual Soup.

Tip: Clefthoof Meat drops quite often from the Crate of Meat rewards for these quests. Cook it up and keep a couple stacks in the bank for this quest. Saves a ton of time.

  4. Super Hot Stew requires you to cook up some Demon Broiled Surprise
For this stew, you need to have 3 x Mok'Nathal Shortribs and 2 x Crunchy Serpent in your bags before heading to the South West edge of the Blade's Edge map to Forge Camp: Terror (30,77). There you want to locate and dispatch of an Abyssal (looks like a hyper active Infernal) and cook the Demon Broiled Surprise up over his body with the cooking pot provided. If you don't yet have the recipes for the Shortribs and Cruncy Serpent, you can purchase them from Xerintha Ravenoak at Evergrove in Blade's Edge Mountains. The Raptor Ribs and Serpent Flesh used can both be obtained from Blades Edge Mountain (east of Toshley's Station) and if you have finished the "Mog'Dorg 5" quests (part of the Skyguard riding ray quests) and are now king/queen of the ogres - you can use any one of the BEM ogre's bonfires to cook the ribs & serpent. (Or anything else you might want to cook while in BEM.) Saves having carrying flint/tinder or running all over creation looking for an 'unguarded' fire.

Tip: You don't need to personally kill an Aybssal to cook over it, a corpse killed by someone else will work just as well.
All quests result in the choice between a Barrel of Fish or a Crate of Meat and 7g 59s.

Fishing
The Daily fishing quest is given out by Old Man Barlo found on the shore of Slimyr Lake outside Shattrath. Must simpler than the cooking quests, these simply send you to a different zone to fish up certain creatures. Every day has one quest chosen at random from the following:
  1. Bait Bandits Terokkar Forest, 355 fishing skill
Ignore the quest text for this fish - you can simply fish like normal, clicking the bobber when it splashes. You can catch the blackfin darter can be caught at 39,22 - the small pond just in front of Shattrath, or fish in the rivers in Terokkar.
  2. Felblood Fillet Hellfire Peninsula with 275 fishing skill, Shadowmoon Valley with 380.
There is only one area to fish in in Hellfire, right around Arazzius the Cruel in the Pools of Vision. The area you can fish in in Shadowmoon Valley is over by Coilskar Cistern, on the Shadowmoon Valley side of the path that connects Shadowmoon Valley and Terrokar, or at the Magma Fields (location 31,37) in Shadowmoon Village

The easiest spot is pools of Aggonar in Hellfire Peninsula. The skill requirement is fairly low, and if you fish in the water behind the altar-like structure you don't have to worry about any mobs or patrols. Just don't fish at the southern most part as the fel reavers path right there, and if you don't mount up right away, you get stepped on.
  3. Shrimpin' Ain't Easy Zangarmarsh, 300 fishing skill
A much easier quest - just head to the southern edge of Umbrafen Lake in Zangarmarsh and start fishing! ..... Anyway, like I was sayin', shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that's about it.
  4. The One That Got Away Nagrand, 380 fishing skill
The World's Largest Mudfish can be caught from Lake Sunspring, Skysong Lake and the Throne of Elements in Nagrand. Further, the bobber actually has to land where the lake is called Sunspring or Skysong: Sometimes it looks like you are fishing from the correct lake, but you are actually fishing in "Nagrand" or "Garadar". Both lakes currently require an effective fishing skill of 395 to cast, 490 to stop get-aways.
  5. Crocolisks in the City Orgrimmar (H) or Stormwind (A), no minimum skill required
While this quest requires no minimum fishing skill, but you must be level 70. The quest is based on the urban legend of alligators dwelling in city sewers. Simply fish anywhere in the Stormwind Canals or either pond in Orgrimmar until you fish up a Baby Crocolisk... naaw.
All quests reward a Bag of Fishing Treasures, containing notable and unique items such as:

Seasonal Quests
During particular Seasonal Events throughout the year special occasion daily quests become available. These daily quests count against the limit of 25 daily quests per day. I will be writing up separate guides for these, and will edit this section to add links in when done.

Add-ons / Mods
If you plan on doing dailies, well, daily, then it might be worth looking into some add-ons and mods that can make your life easier. They are by no means required, you can certainly get by with out them, just... handy.
Dailies Quest Tracker - [Download from WoW Interface]
This is a FuBar/Ace2 Dailies Quest Tracker Addon, that will keep track of the dailies that you have done for the day. If you opt out having FuBar it'll attach itself to the Mini-Map. Benefits:
  • You can display your daily counts through the FuBar icon or text counts.
  • Checks your professions and will show dailies that only you can do.
  • Filter out groups you have no interest in watching.
  • Groups can automatically unfold when you are in the area of the quest.
  • You can have it display only the dailies you've done or all dailies available.
  • Clicking on a quest title, will show you the rewards availiable for that quest. Also, you can then shift-click on any of the rewards [itemlink] to paste them into the chatbox.
  • Shows reputation from factions and will color the faction based on your current standings.
  • If you have any announcement addons (Scrolling Combat Text, Blizzard UI, Parrot) you can have it announce to those scrollers.
Ogri'Lazy - [Download from Curse Gaming]
Apexis Relics (as well as Apexis Monuments) around Ogri'la plateaus have you replay a sequence of up to 10 notes - but the sequence is easily forgotten, and writing it down is cumbersome (besides, that takes effort!). Ogri'Lazy is aimed to simplify the process. When you interact with an Apexis Relic/Monument, the Ogri'Lazy window appears automatically. The window shows four buttons, each representing a color; add the sequence the Relic is playing by pressing the buttons (or the hotkeys), and Ogri'Lazy will automatically keep track of the sequence for you. Once you start replaying the sequence, Ogri'Lazy will also keep track of your progress, saving you from forgetting which note you were up to.

Re: Crypt's Guide to doing Dailies!

I have some tips for completing the Dead Scar bombing run solo on the first try every time.

Before taking off, see if there is anyone else accepting the bombing runs. If someone takes off on a dragonhawk ahead of you going that direction, wait about 30 seconds before going yourself. You don't want to take off side-by-side with someone (especially opposite faction) and compete for mobs.

Next, you also should keybind your Arcane Charges. I put it in #1 slot and temporarily move whatever is there somewhere else.

Lastly, after you take off and before you reach the bombing zone, Alt-Z to remove your UI. After that, it's just spamming "1" until you get your zone, and bombs away immediately anything that's moving. When you make the you-turn halfway through the run, Alt-Z really quick to see what you have left to kill, and look for those mobs on your way back. If you've done this quest a couple of time, you know what mob each on is what locations they are primarily are located at.

*** Information added 22 Minutes and 28 Seconds later... ***

My opinion for "The Not So Friendly Skies..."

The best place to kill dragonmaw transporters is at the dragonmaw fortress. They spawn flying over the building on the Southeast(ish) side of the courtyard where you fight Zuluhed. I stand on the edge of the cliff across the path. Below is the ledge where the elementals and nether rays roam. There is a steady stream of transporters, and I'm never competing for kills.

This is also a good place to hunt for eggs and bushes (i'm a herbalist). Usually did a circuit before grinding for relics and after I was done. Usually netted me about 10-15 pollens and an egg.

PS I know my location description is vague; I'm at work and my resources for stating exact location are lacking. I'll update this post with more specifics when I get home tonight.

Re: Crypt's Guide to doing Dailies!

Just on the Netherwing daily, The Not So Friendly Skies. The transporters for this quest end their trip on the platform, they begin from the Netherwing Fortress (I can't remember the name, but it's the one where you freed the enslaved netherdrakes earlier in the chain) on the mainland. There is far less competition from others if you kill them at the mainland spot. You stand on a small hill outside the fortress on the Netherwing Ledge side & you still get your orc disguise. You pull the transporters down to you using a curse as they fly over. It's a much easier & faster way of doing these, you can pull them as fast as you can heal from the last encounter.

As an added side note, you can grab some netherdust pollen around Dragonmaw Fortress as well. They aren't quite as plentiful, but on good days you can get quite a few. This has helped me out a few times when there were too many people farming dust around the main "island".
