I don't know how I ended up there tonight, but I did, and this is one of the things I saw: Infraction for Redshaman: Specific Idiocy - Elitist Jerks

For all those who think the moderation here is strict, check out their public messages to users for infractions:

Anyone complaining about our moderation after seeing that really needs to realise that while we don't treat everyone as a Special Snowflake, we're far from draconian

In all seriousness though, I've seen forums that are far more strict than this site or the EJ one. They practically start a new thread just to bash your post.

ps: the above was a pain to type on the iPod touch, it keeps correcting my bad grammar. Its hard enough to type poorly with out some device correcting me. LOL.

LOL...akashas quote had me laughing quite a while...i read the original post also..its pretty $./!?# up..in all seriousness i cant say that this site is at '' defcon 5 '' whenever a post is published ,on the contrary by being polite [always!] and with humor moderators place it where it is supposed to be and thats it ,end of story..There is nothing wrong with cleaning up a bit once and a while..

I check this site almost every day. I like the tone very much. I think the moderation and the chosen attitude of the posters makes it so good. I don't know if some of the truly great guides would be possible without the moderation we have here.
