Ok, so what if I don't want/need a pic for my signature, but just want to do words. How do I do it? Like, you know, have a little saying under all your posts.

Ok, so I'm browsing the den, looking for interesting stuff, and I come across quite a few members who have a little saying or quote separated form the rest of the post that appears on all of their posts. I believe that this is called a "signature". I am under the impression that only subscribers can post pics on this "signature". I'm cool with that. However, I would like to be able to have my own, even if it is only a few lines of measly text. I have tried to make one, but the option is not on my profile page. I looked at the rule page until my brain came boiling out my ears, and the only thing I gathered was that the administrators/moderators have an obscene amount of power (but that's fine). I want to know: 1. Am I overlooking something that is embarrassingly accessible? 2. Who is this omnipotent deity called Moderator/Administrator? 3. How may I contact this godlike being so that I may harass them with annoying questions? (JK ill only ask em once in a while)

No, but seriously, I want to know if and why I am being denied these privileges. And if there is a good reason, then I will shut up and never speak of it again.

Well, I am not 100% sure on if you need to be a paying member or not. I can't remember. It is pretty easy to figure out once you go into your User CP. Paste in an Avitar and/or signature. I think it is only a paid thing.

For as much as I use this site for my guild/friends and general fact finding I figured I that I will do my part and help the site along. People put a lot of time into guides, gear guides, quests guides and so forth, so the least I could do was pay my part. I don't care about the ad free thing, but since I don't have time to post guides, the least I could do was help in the Warlock cause.

This site rocks and I am on it about 4 times a day at least, but never enought time to post much. I am too busy playing! I usually read while flying or...cough...at work and can seek in a quick peek like now! Shhh...

I hope you can figure it out Drew and at least chip in. Then you can rock out with your pics and signatures! Look forward to seeing your first one!

Thanks mook! I would love to "chip in", however I am actually of a rather, um, "younger" age. So I don't even have a credit card. But thanks for the advice.

P.S.-- I noticed you have a LFG avatar. Nice to see that Richard's making his way around.

To edit your sig, go into your User Control Panel, found near the top of the page. It should read "User CP".
Next, there should be a long bar to your left with different options. Click the one that says edit sig.
Put what you want in there, then voila, signature!

To recap,
1) Click user Cp
2) Click Edit Signature
3) Put whatever into box
4)????
5) Profit!
No need to be a member.

Correct, moridrin thanks for helping Drew.

I merged both Whistle and Drew's threads since Drew added to Whistle's old thread asking his question, then started a new thread asking the same thing.

In future Drew, one post or thread will suffice. Sometimes it takes people a little while to respond so be patient. The last thing we want is multiple threads on the same subject.

Oops. Yeah, sorry about that. I forgot about the other post. I understand that we cant go clogging up the forum with repeated subjects. I just, you know, forgot. A second question. This one isn't really important, I'm just curious. Does each moderator have specific people that they oversee? Or is it more of a general thing?
