Re: Format to follow, or not? YOU decide
I guess the generalization of talent and gear threads along with "It doesnt matter I'll help anyways" answer got me on the mindset of threads where people ask for help on gear or builds with poor quality of info, not guides. The poll question never implied to me guide specific, and I guess I've ignored the other threads enough to not truely knwo what the cafuff is focused around
In terms of guides, absolutely. There is no point having a "guides" section if the guides in them are not consolodated data in an easy to search format thats standard between related guides. Wether that standardization duty should fall on the person who is submitting the content, or the person who is being donated this content could be debated.. but if your serious about a contribution thats intended to be used to educated others, I'd say take some pride and make it fit in. Now I can leave this thread before I get more confused ![]() Last edited by Soulzar; September 08, 2008 at 11:52 PM.. |

Re: Format to follow, or not? YOU decide
I think a few people are getting confused. This thread/poll has nothing to do with closing of threads. This is purely about the formats currently required for the talent build and gear threads and should they stay or not.
Nothing about guides, nothing about closing threads. *** Information added 5 Minutes and 23 Seconds later... *** I think, given the enormous lead for 'yes', that the requirement for formatting will stay and as such, any threads not following the format and/or posted in the incorrect section will continue to be closed. * * Unless a post, that doesn't follow the format, is well written and provides ample information and thought. Posts will be judged individually. |

Slight update to this thread...
I've been thinking on this issue for a while now. With Savannah cutting through molars, plus us both being sick and generall 'life' keeping me more busy lately, it's meant that threads haven't been looked at as often as before. I'm currently divided between two options:
