Welcome Moderator Vaell

When the decision to add another moderator was made, I already had some people in mind. Not wanting to make them feel obliged however, I put up the announcement hoping they would come to me. And huzzah huzza, a couple of them did!

Everyone give a big warm welcome to our latest staff addition - Moderator Vaell!

Vaell brings articulate, well phrased posting expressing fairness, empathy and objectivity. Apparently he also brings Free Cookies! Line starts behind me!

Thanks very much Akasha. I'm really happy to be on board.

A little about me for those that don't know:

My background didn't involve MMORPGs at all until WoW, I played D&D as a kid, then making music took over my life in my teens. I got into Morrowind a few years back, and it resparked my interest in computer games. Via some RL friends I gave WoW a shot. A fairly obsessive time consuming shot.

I've since met my wonderful partner while Vaell-the-Avatar was young in Tranquillien so you could say that World of Warcraft is a labour of love in more ways than one.

I've been a member here for maybe 3 years or so, and have been playing warlocks just a little longer. I came here to find out exactly where Dalin Forgewright and Comar Villard were so my first warlock Vasscar (a foresaken) could get his succubus, and haven't looked back since.

I've long respected this community for it's maturity, wealth of information and atmosphere. There are many fantastic contributors here and I feel fortunate to have stumbled upon The Den before I had a chance to get lost in the wilderness or warcraft.

With that, I'm proud to be of service to you all and I hope I can give something back to the place that has served me so well as a growing player.

Congratulations Vaell!!! I would love to be a moderator on here but I do not have the time that is required to be effective (four kids will do that to you!!).

I am sure you will do a fantastic job!!

Congratulations Vaell in your newly appointed position. It is IMO befitting of your past contributions, and as Akasha stated 'level headed-ness and open mindedness' in your additions to this site.

Great deeds do not go unnoticed, and I'm glad to see you become part of the team.

Even agreeing to disagree on many topics, i cannot but to admit the moderator powers are in good hands. Best of luck to you and i will try my best to not be on your case too much (and sometimes is really hard for me, as you know

).
