Re: Not changing a thing - Final thread

So...I've kinda stayed out of this, but I fail to understand how having a "Mage's Den" and a "DK Den" along side but not within the Warlock's Den would be a threat to anyone. Just make the top level some sort of "WoW Den" or lair or master bedroom...whatever. Geesh, in my guild we have a GM and we have class leaders...I don't insist that the GM be the Lock class leader. I believe that this is one of the best sites available and if the enforced civility (I approve of it by the way) results in a more constructive site than the degenerative noob calling that so many other forums decended into, then why should we not insist...yea INSIST, that Akasha bring this beacon of hope and sanity to the rest of the classes? No I don't want the trolls (not Trolls...trolls) running rampant like they do on the offical forums; Which is why I believe this is the perfect place for that. The owner and moderators don't have to be nice to anyone if they start that stuff...kinda like comparing Disney to Universal Studios during Halloween Horror Nights here in Orlando...US is NOT there to make you smile but to give you what you paid for.
So...in conclusion, keep the site just the way it is, and build around it. Take the framework and repaint it and see to it that all have a Den to which they may retire after a hard day of adventure in our little worlds.

Re: Not changing a thing - Final thread

Im interested by the fact that when Akasha states that the site may change there is nothing but QQ and negative votes, however when it is confirmed that the site is NOT changing all of a sudden everybody wants a mage and DK corner

Personally (not that anybody cares) i've been for expanding the site. Preferably caster dps only (spriests and mages - Dk's not so much - atleast this keeps some kind of unity)

The previous point about loosing 20-50 stuck up locks is price worth paying for 500+ helpful spriests and mages

Go for it akasha, its not too late to change your mind...

Different people reply, with different attitudes. I still think that encouraging people is better than putting them down, but that's only my opinion...

Best to keep this site Warlock Only. Deathknights already have a fully supported forum out there and I am sure the other classes (eg: mages) do too.

I respectually request not to dredge up the this topic again - all decisions have already been made, and any changes done..

Re: Not changing a thing - Final thread

well, i've been reading this site for a long time , posting little, and always found great advice and envirement here.

all this good work you put into it for such long time, i really understand how frustrating it is to be voted out by the comunity you work for.

so, without any attempt to influence your already made decisions. there are many here that really apriciate this site. (totally what made me the warlock i am tbh). just wanted to say thanks!
