What is it, with the adds on the forum?
I know that advertising helps run the site, but when you have a big add running across the top of the tabs then that is pushing it. The only tabs I can access are the Forum index and User CP, the rest are covered by an add. When I log on to the site I go straight for New posts, I'm havent got the time or interest to go through every single forum to see if any new posts are added. The advertising on the tabs only arrived today and if it is a permanent fixture, then I doubt I will be returning much to the site as it is very user unfriendly to the point of being ridiculous. |

I personally haven't seen the type of ad you're talking about, nothing's changed for me. But if it is just a problem, then an ad-free subscription would solve your problems and still allow you to remain on the site. |

Re: What is it, with the adds on the forum?
Hmm.. Is your browser window fully expanded? What is your screen resolution? I have a feeling that your window might be too small, and it's causing the Ad to wrap and drop down lower than it's supposed to. This would make it appear to overlap the tabs your speaking of. If it's possible to maximize the browser or widen it further, it should fix the issue. I'll add this to a list of things that should be addressed. I do know of a solution, but I'm not an Admin with the power to fix it, just a Mod.

If your using Firefox...try viewing it in IE....I saw the add you were referring to when I wasn't logged into my name. I switched to IE and it was where it should be. Try scaling down your text on Firefox and see if that helps. Or as the other poster said..subscribe! I did. It's easily worth 15 bucks IMO |

Re: What is it, with the adds on the forum?
The add is now gone, so some one must have read the thread. Just for the record i dont use Firefox and the screen was fully expanded. Thanks any way to the person who made the adjustment. |

I have a paid subscription and I just started seeing the ad yesterday- I use IE8 to which I've made no recent configuration changes
