Re: low dps need help

That is going to drop your DPS some. Due to the fact that Incinerate gets an increased Damage (from talents and passively from the skill itself) due to Immolate being on the target. I also notice that you don't have any Curses or Corruption on the target. Is that because you don't use them or you forgot to list them?

Anyway, Heroics your DPS will be lower anyway due to less buffs and whatnot. Also the enemies not staying alive as long.

My suggestion is starting off the fight with a Curse of Agony or CoD (depending on the estimated length of fight, also starts a good second of your wait time for tank aggro), and Corruption. This may give you the increase you've been looking for. But definitely try and keep Immolate up at all times.

Yeah i never really use COD /COE due to the fact that the targets die so quick. So i should jus keep to 1 conflag durin the immo CD? ok il try that also if i raise my hit and crit abit more would that improve dps?

Most Definitely, currently you have about 3% chance to miss hitting your target (if its a boss). Crit on the other hand... your doing pretty good with. about 22% will get you ~30% in a 10man (depending buffs). and that could cause some trouble.... aggro pulling and all but as long as you give a head start yeah....

hit cap with your spec is about 368 w/o having a draenei or Boomer/Spriest in your party (also depending on there own spec some don't like to talent to help us) if you wish to read it up: What's the Hit cap Mr. Wolf?

To just pull from that article "To clarify: hitting and critting are separate rolls, but in order to crit, you must first hit."

I stuck i Curse of Agony on the practise dummy before my rotation and it increased a small bit
Is there anything you would change gear/glyth wise on my charcter?
I know these are noobish questions but hey, we all got to start somewhere hehe

Re: low dps need help

Nah, I don't mind (getting upset with poor sum of Decent raiders on my server, this gets me away from it)

As you get closer and closer to your hit goal. you may be able to swap your talents around and move off of suppression. But atm your spec and gear are doing fine. Your glyphs? Fine.

As i see it your will be doing well after a few hit increases here and there... (oh crap. just noticed i haven't updated my own spec on the sight *doh*)

I'll chime in here too.
1) Don't worry about your hit for heroics. 158 is the hit cap for a level 82, which is any heroic boss. You will want more hit for raiding, but it's not affecting your DPS in heroics.
2) You have a great Destro spec for your gear level, but with your spec, there is one recommended Glyph change. I'd swap Glyph of Incinerate to Glyph of Lifetap. Once you go to the 0/13/58 spec, get the Glyph of Incinerate back. The difference is Improved Soul Leech giving you enough mana to reduce your Lifetapping needs.
3) If, and only if, you want to respec (or dual spec), try out 0/41/30 for heroics. You will need more hit rating to use it in raids, but it is capable of great sustained DPS in heroic-style fights.

Good luck out there!

Cormanthor is 41/30 FG/Emberstorm and 40/31 Imp/Conflag still doing good dps? I thought I heard that deep destro and deep affliction were smashing it in the face pretty hard.

Back on topic, Killz if you want more dps as Destro I'd say look into upping your Haste Rating. If anything when gearing look for SP and Haste, before Crit or Hit. Simply because (as has been said before) there are lots of raid buffs and such for hit and crit, and not so much for haste. That, and haste means more incinerates per immolate, which means more time doing damage and less time reapplying immolate, which, in turn, becomes more DPS.

Re: low dps need help

Hit is the first thing you are looking for on items until you are hit capped. You then go Spellpower followed by Haste, Crit etc. You can't always rely on the appropriate raid buff to be there to help with Hit or Crit.

As for dropping the second Conflag out of your rotation - that is a complete no-no. If you have the Conflag glyph you are popping Conflag everytime it comes off cooldown as it is not consuming your Immolate.

Most Heroic mobs drop very quickly if you are running with a well geared group but if you are finding the time to go through a full rotation you will find that doing CoE, Immolate, Conflag, Chaos Bolt, Incinerate x No. (haste dependant), Conflag before Immolate wears off will give you a decent amount of dps. This is all relative to Boss mobs as trash seems to be an AOE fest.
