Can you link a Armory or anything so we can check out your gear. Also what does your normal rotation look like. is the 1500 over the whole Dungeon/raid or per boss fight? Oh yeah link your spec to us too :-)

I am not a Destro lock but are you using the right glyphs and making sure your conflag goes off in last 5 seconds of Immolate? Are you getting your Chaos Bolt off as soon as possible after cooldown? |

You should have the glyph of conflagrate, immolate, and imp. My rotation (which others can correct if need be) is : Curse of Agony, Immolate, Conflagrate, Incinerate, Incinerate, Chaos bolt Curse of Agony is mostly used to get Molten Core to 'proc' (or start taking affect). You then cast Immolate since this is a prerequisite for Conflagerate and it buffs Incinerate while active. Next you use Conflag to get Backdraft to proc, increasing your haste and making it easier to kick out Incinerates faster. Make sure you refresh Curse of Agony and Immolate. When Immolate is starting to tick down to 5 or less seconds remaning, try to time it so that you can use Conflag at that time. After you consume all three of the Backdraft buffs, if you don't need to immediately refresh Curse of Agony or Immolate, then you should probably get in a life tap. It's easy to get tunnel vision and forget to life tap but tapping at the wrong times can start to hurt your dps. You should also have out your imp and make him attack. Take the imp improvement talents as well. That's pretty much it. |

Don't forget corruption. It might only deal another 3.5-4k damage over its life but a) thats more damage for a single gcd b) it can also help proc molten core.
