My guild has tried this fight for the past 3 weeks and I hate it with a passion.. There is so much going on and you have to focus on so many little details is driving me nuts.. I have previously tried this with the Imp and the DPs was not any better.. I can survive for the most part and my Pet management is getting better.. Everytime a fire wall hit I remember to recall my Hun. I tried not to SOC because when I do the Adds come and eat me. What else can I do? Wow Web Stats Zeebra 0/41/30 The World of Warcraft Armory |

Re: Completly traumatized
Are you trying this with Drakes up? How many? It's something that takes exposure, and if you are relatively new to raiding, wiping is raiding. It takes time, focus, and persistence. In addition, I would look at Kroth's build that takes advantage of improved Imp and it's MD buff so you can phase it and forget it. And Don't use Seed! They will eat your face! |

Re: Completly traumatized
stay out of fire wall. keep your pet on passive. sac him if need be or just don't use too much. health funnel when needed and pay two healers to keep an eye on him ;P |

Re: Completly traumatized
I keep my normal pet out until he dies, and then I throw an Infernal out there. It only takes 1.5 seconds and he is immune to fire damage. |

Re: Completly traumatized
Yes.. Is with 3 drakes up. We have wiped over 85 times in the last 3 weeks. I am not new to raiding and I can forget about heals for my pet is not happening.. I can keep him up for the most part even thought he dont fight as much. I want to know what am I doing wrong and how I can up my DPS. Thanks Fallen for the Video I will watch it over and over.. My problem is not survavility cause I can survive and I know the fight.. I need to know what else can I do so my numbers are higher? |

Re: Completly traumatized
Looking at attempt #8 (longest attempt) You also only cast 6 incinerates in the 2min 28 seconds you where alive.. any reason for that? I mean you should be able to cast that on Sarth before Tenebron even comes down. You also seemed to health funnel in there on your Fel. Did you miss pulling him out? 2/2 Fel Synergy should be enough to keep him up from the AOE. Also you are 41/30 you should be using RoF instead of SoC anyway. Golden rule of meta/ruin or 41/30 on Sarth 3D.. pet moves when you move. Put a pet follow, pet attack macro on a major key and remember to hit it BEFORE you start to move. Make sure you put your pet on passive as well.. helps him not go rogue when you pull him back (just remember to send him back in.. great use of Fel intercept here) Some other general tips. Use demonic circle well.. place it when you engage Sarth and after you move behind him in the first "safe" zone closest to him. Generally I do the following as a practice.. I place my demonic circle in the middle safe zone. When I engage Tenebron I run into the other safety zone (cast my instant DoTs on the way to use GCD's well). So I'm in the furthest flame wave safety zone when engaging Tenebron. This allows me to maximize the use of the flame wave safe zones. If the wave comes from the left (facing away from Sarth) I don't have to move and keep casting. I just watch for the void zones and move slightly in the safe area to stay out of them. If the wave comes from the right.. I hit my pet follow button and teleport into the middle area and keep casting. I use the left mouse button to look left and right (doesn't move your character just the camera.. i.e. stay facing the target you are casting at) to see which side a flame wall comes from. Also I noticed that you died to a void zone on #8, make sure you crank spell effects all the way down to low so you only see void zones and other spell effects like DnD don't interfer with that. Your mileage may vary.. but I'd also think about going meta/ruin for that fight if you are already 41/30. I think meta is a better spec for 3D over 41/30, because you can pop it after the Tenebron kill to completely trash the adds. Mechanics are almost the same as 41/30 just with that meta pop and immolation aura AOE on the adds. Better overall for the raid I think too (doesn't hurt your DPS numbers either). Afflication and meta are the best specs for that fight IMHO. Afflication for raw damage output and meta for utility and making the add transition easier.
