You'd be better off going for metamorphosis -- the talents you've taken to get to Devastation (aftermath, Intensity, Destructive Reach) are all dps losers compared to the alternatives (Nemesis, Improved Demonic Tactics, Molten Core, and Metamorphosis.) Top dps deep demo builds from simcraft are 0/56/15 and 3/52/16. 3/52/16 is possibly better personal dps depending on your raid group, 0/56/15 is likely better raid dps with Demonic Pact. Talent calculator links are below; in either of them I'd take a point from Master Summoner and put a point in Mana Feed (My Felguard almost never dies but he sure does use his mana). 0/56/15: The World of Warcraft Armory 3/52/16: The World of Warcraft Armory |

sweet thanks, i'll give those a try. just another quick question, why is it that the 3/52/16 gave up demonic pact?? i remember that being a good spot to spend some points. is it not as good as it used to be?? just wondering. thanks for the help again |

Depends on your group and your gear. See Raid Composition Guide - The Warlocks Den - WoW Warlock Discussions Basically, 2 demonic pacts don't stack, so if you have 2 demonology warlocks in your raid only one of you should have demonic pact. It also gets overridden and does not stack with the 280 spell power of Totem of Wrath, so if you have an elemental shaman in your group and less than or little more than 2800 spell power then it isn't worth it either. For example, if I only had 2810 spell power buffed, and an Elemental Shaman in my raid, then my demonic pact would provide 281 spell power to the raid, over riding the 280 of Totem of Wrath. I would have just spent 5 talent points to give the raid 1 extra spell power. |
