Also to explain leaving out Corruption. Since they moved Molten Core into the demo tree we no longer need shadow spells to proc it because when you are this deep in Destro you don't have the talent to proc. This also removes one CD you have to watch and makes the overall rotation easier to manage.

I'm having a huge issue on every boss, it seems. I'm 0/13/58 and have a weird mishmash of gear - almost no Naxx25 gear, but I have a few Ulduar pieces, a crafted piece, and a few Naxx10 pieces. As for stats, I'm hit capped and have about 2k spell damage unbuffed, with 454 haste and 17.5% crit. I'm using an imp and my rotation is: Cod-Immolate-CB-Conflag-Incin til CB or conflag are up, rinse and repeat. The other locks in my raid are destro as well and are doing at LEAST a thousand more DPS than I am on average, and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Me: Honeyfitz/Malfurion Our other locks: Twistedmik, Vryx and Macabé Can someone PLEASE help me out, tell me what I'm doing wrong or what the difference is... I can't figure it out and I'm almost on the verge of quitting.

I'm deep destro with a mix of Naxx 10/25 items, badge gear and Heroic drops. Most of my Naxx runs are 10 man as I am in a small guild so anything 25 is always pugged. With my gear, rotations and the raid buffs (I didn't have any food and no flasks as I was pugged in unexpectedly) I did 5.1k on Patch on Sunday night. This wasn't a short fight as Patch enraged and after taking out the tanks, headed straight for me as I was next on the aggro table only to have him fall dead at my feet from my chaos bolt (I wasn't aware how much health he had at that point and almost crapped myself when he was charging at me). My rotation is CoE>Corruption>Immolate>Conflag>Chaos Bolt>Incinerate spam until Conflag re-pops and refresh dots etc as needed, rinse and repeat. You always have to make sure that you are casting Chaos Bolt and Conflag (if you are using the Conflag glyph) everytime they are off cooldown. I have Conflag, Immolate and Incinerate glyphs as well. I found that by disabling Pitbull before doing 25 mans, I got a massive increase in my dps as it was lagging me out quite a bit - something that I don't notice in 10 mans. Without knowing if you are running an array of addons, if you are lagging, whether your pc can handle it etc, it is really hard to say what could be causing your low dps. |

Well, it's not lag due to addons; I shut them all off and was still only doing about 3500 on the practice dummy in IF. I did notice, though, that my crit is about 8% lower than the locks I'm raiding with. 8% is a LOT, but would it make up a 1k DPS difference?
