Dps Help- What am I doing wrong?
Im An 80 warlock with around 900 dps single target dps and 1.4k AoE Im specced demonology + Ruin Here is my armory profile link - The World of Warcraft Armory My spell rotation is SB, Curse of Agony , Corrup, Immo, Incin . Incin. SB. SB please help!, I would appreciate any help, repecs etc. new spell rots.. I want to increase my dps to 2k so i can raid.. ANY Sugestions are welcome |

First off I see your hit is way low. I would guess you are missing a lot with your spells because of this. I will tell you what I tell the other locks in my guild; you can have all the spellpower in the world but if you can't hit anything it doesn't mean anything. Also your gear is not all that great. Before you can raid you need to run heroics. I would say run as many heroics as you can to get rid of that gear. Also I would try another cookie cutter build like affliction. Afflic scales better with gear. I like 3/13/55 myself but I don't think you have the gear to pull it off. You are not speced into fire so why are you using incin for? You are speced into shadowblots so stay with those. If I where you I would go with something like. Curse of Agony, Corp,immo and then sb for filler and start over. Those are just my thoughts. |

Get hitcapped (446 hitrating so a lot of work to do!!). Dont enchant or gem anything else untill you are hitcapped. Run heroics and get better gear. As for the build, meta/ruin is more a utility build whit good raidbuffs but not whit the best personal dps. For the best personal dps for heroics I would go for 3/13/55 (which is also overal the highest dps spec). The World of Warcraft Armory Because of supression you only need 368 hitrating now. It doesn't make sense to use inc and SB... only 1 of those to is the best filler. In your case that is SB but in 3/13/55 that is inc. |

Agreed,runing a couple of heroics to gear up is where you might want to start. vh has a decent trink to boost your hit, which is the area you might want to focus on. You can have all the sp in the world but its useless if they are not landing on your target. I use to go deep demo but then I thought about how often i used metamorphisis which was hardly ever,so I went 41/30 till I geared up with and used incin as my nuke. But it really comes down to gear then you can toy with specs and see what works for you. But definitely get that hit up what good is throwing a 100 mph fastball if you can hit the strike zone.
