Dps help! What am I doing wrong?
Im Wondering what Im doing wrong this time!!, Im specced into, 0/13/58 Destruction Spec. My spell rotation for bosses is, CoE, Immo, Conflag, CB (if alive), Incinerate untill Conflag is ready, and repeat, (i refresh Immolate when needed) And i pull around... 3k dps.. ranging from 2.8k to 3.4k Pet : imp My Gear is no too bad, The World of Warcraft Armory But I wondering why a warlock specced like me in WORSE gear than mine, Heroes set + blues is pulling more dps than me and topping 4k!!! What can I do to improve my dps? Thank You Also I put my details in a Dps Spreadsheet, it says im supposed to do 4.7k dps ++ |

Your gems and enchants are seriously lacking. However, your biggest problem right now is hit. You need to spec into suppression until you acquire more hit gear. 17% is cap with gear/chants/raid buffs/talents points, in any combination. |

You don't have enough hit to NOT use suppression or Mark of the War Prisoner. |

You are also lacking enchants. It's suprising you have the weapon enchant and not much else, usually the weapon enchant is the last i get due to costs  . But anyway, go get the shoulder enchant from Sons of hodir rep. You are only friendly with them at the moment so you have alot of dailies to do! This enchant is a must for any caster. You can get the lesser one at honoured, and the better one at exalted. The head enchant you should have too, since you are exalted with the Kirin'tor. You also need a cloak, bracers, gloves and chest enchant. I would also maybe not gem for haste yet until you have enough hit. Once you are capped, you can then think about haste as you upgrade. spell power and hit are your priority then haste replaces hit once you are capped. Having said all this, i'm not too sure if you're wearing your pvp gear right now or if you're wearing those gloves for pve. If so, take out the stamina gem, it isn't important for raiding. Thank You very much for the help that you have given me, Ill post a link to my new gear when I get those done! Last question, i cant seem to find it on the forums is the priority for destruction locks# SP > crit > haste (Assuming you are hit capped) |
