I got enough emblems to get some T9 pieces.

I started with a 3 point suppression build and:
sp 2592
hit 320
crit 23.41%
haste 400
mana 278

At the heroic dummy in IF I was able to easily do ~4kdps using COD.

Using the emblem guide, I purchased Kel'Thuzad's Gloves of Conquest and Shard of the Crystal Heart. These replaced Handwraps of Surrendered Hope and Darkmoon Card: Illusion (keeping Sundial of the Exiled). I changed out a couple of gems that had hit but now i do not need it since i am hit caped. I also changed the talents to the more common destruction build 0/13/58 The World of Warcraft Armory

The stats now become:
sp 2506
hit 480
crit 24.97
haste 371
mana 257

At the heroic dummy i was now only doing ~3k using COD. I did it again now using COE and got up to 3.5dps.

I was thinking that the T9 and T8 two set bonus would give me a nice boost in DPS but that does not seem to be the case.

Is the drop in spellpower(86) and haste(29) enough to offset the increase due to the set bonus?

The only problem i am still having is with the "glitch" of Conflagrate being lit up when another lock's immolate is affecting the target, yet being unable to cast it. It seems every fight with another lock in raid finds me slamming the conflag button only to get the silent screetch of wasting a spell cast and the continual subsequent reflection of "why did that happen..."

Reading what is in the forums i went for the 2pcT8 and 2pcT9 gear. I have Conqueror's Deathbringer Hood and Conqueror's Deathbringer Robe for the T8 set. For the T9 set i have Kel'Thuzad's Gloves of Conquest and Kel'Thuzad's Leggings of Triumph.

I have worked towards 45 EOT to purchase Mantle of Catastrophic Emanation per the emblem buying guide, which i got with downing Onyx.

Then i ran Onyx 25 and won the Nemesis Skullcap. Comparing the T8 and this head piece it is much better. The issue is that it will break the T8 set bonus. Looking through the options of using the nemesis head piece i would have to go to the shoulderpads to maintain the T8 set because of the pieces i have for the T9 set bonuses, and it looks like it drops in Uldar(?), which i have not started yet.

Any suggestions? Should I drop the T8 set and use the nemesis head piece and purchase the shoulders? If i break the T8 set i have access to Merlin's Robe, it would just take me a little while to get the mats.
