Hello and first of all, thank you to everybody who contributes to this site. I feel more like a parasite here as I have been reading the Den forever, but I just don't feel that I have anything good to contribute (maybe I'm just not paying attention enough). Anyway, I have been running Destruction for the most part, our guild is running Uld 25 and TotC up to the PVP encounter. I am running in the bottom half of our DPS team and it is driving me nuts. I have recently gotten some nice upgrades to my gear and I do realize that I am now over the Hit cap and I am specced into Hit, which I plan on changing soon. My concern is there are other Warlocks in the guild that put out way more DPS than me like immediately, I think I'm following the proper rotation... CoE / CoD - Immolate - Conflag - CB - Incin - Incin - Incin - Incin - Conflag - Immolate - CB - Incin......ect..... I'm using life tap when it's up, and my trinket, yet my DPS seems to want to stay around 2500 - 3000. I realize on some fights it's hard cuz we have to move, but even on stand up and blast fights, I'm lucky to be in the top 10. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, weather it be on my gear / spec or glyphs. Thank you so much, Subwiz Here is my current Armory link: The World of Warcraft Armory |

Hello There ![]() Well the only thing I can see off the top of my head is that although you have a nice lot of gear, You don't have any tier pieces of which you would get a 2 and a 4 piece bonus. I am not 100% if that will give you a vast DPS increase but I am pretty sure it will help you out towards getting up there with the other Lock in Your guild. Your haste is at 334 atm, I think mine is about 570, so with more haste you can pop those incinerates out alot quicker. I think other then that dont clip immolate (I am such a sinner for that sometimes). I really dont know what else to suggest for now. Maybe some of the other wise locks here can help you out a bit more then me ![]() Take care and remember have Fun Heavenshy

Thank you Heavenshy, lately I have been trying to gear toward Haste if I can. In about 4 Uld Raids, I got like 4 or 5 upgrades so my gear kindof exploded on me ![]() I'll make sure I don't clip Immolate, I do sometimes cut off that last second. I have a Trophy of Crusade for my T9 set piece, however I have only 33 emblems of triumph so I'm trying to get to 75 to get a real nice item there. Shooting for this Kel'Thuzad's Robe of Triumph - Item - World of Warcraft and I'll just work on the 2nd piece as I get emblems. Thanks, Subwiz Also Heavenshy - I saw you are 0/13/58 but when I click on your talent spec it just brings me back to the Den. Where did you put those 3 points that I probably have in suppression? The 3 from Suppression towards SL, then probably take the pt out of Shadowfury and one out of one other talent, generally the Destructive Reach, to go to the 2/2 ISL. |

It such a pity that a site like the Warlock's Den doesn't have some kind of guide to how to gear/spec/gem properly for best dps. You would think that for a site like this which has been up for several years that someone would have put something together by now. |

Sub, the first thing I would do is replace Living Flame with a trinket that produces damage. You only need 289 hit if you have 3 points in suppression. Also, start replacing gear as you can to balance out your haste with your crit. You should be favoring haste a little more than crit. You have decent gear, but you have no set pieces as someone above mentioned. That would help alot. Another thing I tell everyone, get a spreadsheet to help choose your gear wisely and maximize your stats. |

In addition to everything else that's been said, just covering the other basics: - make sure you have your imp out and assisting. turn off Phase Shift - use Fel Armor - make sure you are using your Living Flame trinket (if you keep it) - keep jamming on your spell keys so you get as early a pre-cast as you can - stay within range of totems - use flasks, food, and firestones - lag can really gimp your dps |

thank you thank you! I'll be re-doing my spec when I get home tonight (getting rid of suppression) I just need to figure out my Hit, but I think i'll be OK now. I definately flask / food, but I think my imp may have phase shift on auto, i'll turn that off too. Subwiz |
