sorry Warlock
Dear fellow warlocks! I am a regular reader of this forum, out of pure need, as I am frustrated by my dps. I dont dare to go on raids such as 10 man TotC or Ulduar, but it is there that I need better gear from. I have done everything in my power to get the best gear without going on those raids, but as you see my spellpower and haste are pretty low still. I dont know how I could get better stats then I have now. My dps on dummy unbuffed is 3k, in instances it is around 2800 and in raids around 3300. What is your question specifically? EDIT: You'd see a slight dps gain if you dumped suppression for ISL, or dumped hit gear for haste gear. Also, put a SP/haste gem in your chest and a SP/Spi gem in your belt. Last edited by Evictoray; October 05, 2009 at 10:28 AM.. |

I'm surprised that gear wise, you don't have a 4 piece T8 set bonus at all. Conquest emblems are easy to get nowadays, so I'm confused to as why you haven't gotten that yet. The set bonuses will help your DPS (Immolate and Incinerate buffs for destro). You can afford to drop some hit, and as far is gemming goes, don't socket for a pure blue or yellow. Instead, go for the mixed (Purple or Orange). So for the blue socket in your waist piece, go for the 12sp, 10spi gem. As for your chest piece, go for the 12sp and 10haste. |

I got that gear (2 piece), but it made my hit really low and I did even worse dps. |

From everything I've gotten, you're To Hit needs to be 17% (385). How did I get that number? Remember you specc'd into Suppression, which does NOT show up on your character sheet. So you're sitting at 17% right now, add in Suppression and your hit percentage is 20%. One thing I recommend is the Accuracy Potion or (I think) Roasted Worg, either of which increase your To Hit by 40 points, so you could lose some Hit gear in favor crit gear. I pumped my crit up to 25% and saw a significant increase in DPS. |
