Ack...
Ok so in my mind I think I should be throwing at least 2k DPS right now howver no matter how hard I try in heroics i cant break 1.8 ugh. Is this because im still in 2 greens and an heirloom or is it my rotation i try and go corruption, coe, immo, conf, chaos, inc, inc, inc, conf when it pops and chaos when it pops rest is just inc. Or is it that I just have no clue what im doin? My spell power with fel armor is 1538 and my hit right now is only like 170. So what should I be looking out for gear wise or what should i be doin diff? Fellow locks please help.

Could be that you have nothing gemmed, nothing enchanted and have some off the wall spec that I've never seen. Please refer to the sticky threads where all of the basics are explained in detail, then come back here with specific questions. |

What I see mattering the most when I analyze people's dps is pauses in-between casts. You can use the addon Quartz to see how much latency is affecting your casts and then start spamming the button of the next cast before the first one finishes casting - this can in some of the extreme cases give as much as 50% increase, because some people have up to 0,5 seconds in between their casts. I'd suggest running a WWS report on your dps and post it with this thread, so we can see what is going on - also an armory link would be nice and Quote:

First, armoury is not showing your meta gem, maybe you dont have one equiped? Chaotic Skyflare Diamond is the prefered choice and you already have 2 blue sockets. Your neck needs a gem, but since the bonus is +4 int, you are better of going for a pure spell power gem(Runed Scarlet Ruby). you can get the Mantle of Inconsolable Fears from the black knight normal mode(47 int, +49 Haste, +19sp) and then grind hodir rep for Lesser Inscription of the Storm (19 sp, +10 crit) Mini Guide: it'll take you 8 days doing the dailies to get to honoured, however you can shorten this by downloading gathermate and turning on everfrost chips, flying around and picking these up can really speed up the process. as for glyphs, change your corruption to immolate and add You spec looks good From our own What's the hit cap mr wolf we find that 5man heroics only requires 6% or 158 hit, which you have almost exactly, thus, you can drop suppression unless you are getting into raids. As for rotation, for trash its up to you and the tank, for bosses, cast CoE first, then cast immolate, followed by incinerate, then conflagrate, then chaos bolt and repeat with this priority list Immo>Conflagrate>Chaos bolt> incinerate.
