Low DPS
Hi, My character name is Ssor, On the US server Whisperwind. And i'm wondering if i'm doing something wrong or why is my dps only about 2.5k raid buffed.... I have been using Snapper Extreme food (40 hit rating and 40 stamina for a hour) and Elixir of Accuracy (45 hit rating for a hour) in order to get hit capped. Using the standard 0/13/58 spec. And my rotation is CoE Immo Conflag Chaos Bolt, and then Incinerate a bunch then repeat. Maybe there are some gems or something i need to fix.... I dont know, Please help. Thanks Ross/Ssor. Hi! 1. Enchanting more of your gear will be an improvement for sure. 2. If your not hit-capped then I suggest that you change your spec to 3/13/55 for more hit-rating LINK 3. You should gem purely +spell hit rating, untill you are hit-capped, since it gives the biggest boost to your DPS. 4. Spell-rotation is bad old habbit. In Wrath of the Lich King there is no such thing as a spell-rotation, now it's called spell-prioritization, prioritization beeing a key-word. Your spell priority should be something like this: Curse of Doom, Immolate, Conflagrate, Chaos Bolt, Incinerate. What this means is basically this: If your on a boss-fight, and your spamming incinerates, and Curse of Doom has run out, and immolate also, then you apply Curse of Doom first, then Immolate, and then you go back to spamming incinerates, untill your Conflagrate or Chaos Bolt is off CD. So, in short: Always keep a Curse of Doom on the target, if the target has less than 60 seconds to live, use Curse of Agony. Always keep Immolate at the target, if you decide to re-new immolate, then don't clip the dot, meaning that you shouldn't cast immolate if your immolate-dot still has 5 seconds to live, or even 3 seconds to live. 5.
