My DPS still sucks, what am I doing wrong?
Hello fellow Shadowbolt-casting evil warlocks, I'll start by telling you that I have been playing WoW since it came out 5 years ago. Now I haven't been playing Warlock all this time. Not at all. I have had my warlock for under a year I think, but he is currently my main character, so I spend a lot of time playing him. Lately, I have been using a lot of time gearing and caring for him. Desperately trying to boost my DPS. I almost always do heroics and pugs with some of my real life friends, all of which, are really good at their class. Among these is a Retribution paladin, which especially beats me on DPS and Damage Done on the meters. At the moment I am dual-specced, one of my specs being Destruction, and the other being Affliction. I switch a bit back and forth on these, depending on what instance I do and such. Despite all this, my DPS is good, but not good enough. I am stuck at 3-3,2k in Heroics, and I'm still not topping the damage meters in raids, be it 25-mans or 10-mans. Don't worry about "topping the charts" you will run into players with better gear or maybe even are better than you as long as you are doing enough dps for the tier level you are in your fine, as with heroics DPS will always go down, even with destros burstness by the time we put of COE and Immo the mob is half dead so don't worry about that what is your average dps in raids and which raids do you do? |

Pick up Mark of the War Prisoner - Item - World of Warcraft or something similar so you can replace all of those hit gems with spell power gems. Also, don't gem for pure haste. |
