To be honest judging by your stats 3k doesn't sound too bad.. I think you could maybe do a bit more though, perhaps as deep destro. I would just take a close look at all the little things. There is a very good thread about boosting your dps with little tricks etc. Not got time to dig it out but if you search 'tips that significantly increase your dps' or something like that you will find the thread (or someone else link it, would be great). You have been given some good advice too. Take note of it. |

Ok, i'll check out the meta gem tonight. I have a few haste items that I'll swap out for my crit ones and see if that fixes it. I only gemmed intellect so my meta would work but I guess that's about to change if I change my meta. No the trinkets don't share a cd I have had them both proc together a large number of times. I have the abyssal rune so I'll stack some haste tonight and see what can be improved, i'll also give the rotation a go and post the results.. Last night on the training dummy I managed to get a burst of 3.6k but it was fairly brief. but it sat at around an average of 2.4-2.6.. If i could constantly hit 3k i wouldn't mind so much |

You really out gear me, yet i do about 3.5k dps. I think the problems w/ your rotation. Throw in some dots? doesnt sound good since your running a destro build. Drop that lifetap glyph too, i dont think anyone running that build uses that glyph, i might be wrong. Also try using curse of doom if theres a boomkin or undead DK using their magic damage buffs. my rotation is pretty much keeping immo. up, spam incinerate, and cast conflag and CB when they're of CD hope it helps BTW, if your looking at my armory, i know i need to re-gem Last edited by gjoncay14; October 18, 2009 at 12:04 AM.. Just going off of single class buff DPS ranking with your CoE, MaxDPS.com has you at 2933. From your input that sounds pretty close. Input full raid buffs, and it turns out 3577. MaxDPS.com - Destruction Warlock DPS Gear Rankings The site is in no way perfect, but I use it for percentage increase comparisson. I normally find it to be about 1000 DPS below my actual performance. If that's a comparison, your gear would match out to somewhere in the 4-4.5K range in a Patchwerk style fight. Just to second (third?) the gem socket advice: Chaotic Skyflare Diamond meta (+21 crit / +3% crit damage) Reckless Ametrine (+12 SP / +10 haste) in yellow slot of Conquerer's chest - You lose 4 SP, but gain 10 haste. If any socket bonus is +7 SP or higher, that is the only time you should socket anything but Runed Cardinal (which needs to go in your shoulders) Purified Dreadstone ( +12 SP / +10 Spi) in your Heroe's Plagueheart Leggings. You're hosed here. You're lucky that you got a blue socket in your weapon, but you've got to sack a socket bonus somewhere (buy putting it in a yellow) or lose a red - you're kind of out of luck. I'd put it in the legs just because it would go over the top of the blue-level gem red that's there. Hope that you get a drop with a blue socket, so you can put a red back in here. If you're running with a Boomkin or Unholy Dk, always use your CoD instead of CoE, because they have abilities in their damage rotation that overwrite your CoE anyway. Good luck. |

even if i stack a bunch of haste I can only average around 2500, 3000 if i really push it hard.. just doesn't seem right and i've taken all the advise you guys have suggested(besides gemming at this stage) |

Mhm i kinda have a similar problem. But in my case i think i have my stats all wrong. i can get up to 4.8k on a normal heroic boss my rotation starts with CoD, then Imm, CB, Conflag, Inc (spam until imm and cb are off cd) i could use some advice on my gear stats and what i do or should not do with it.
