Better dps plz
I would like some advice in ways to boost my dps. i took a break from wow and now iv come back to mages owning the dps meters. I have about 2800 sp raid buffed, 24.43% crit (29.43 with destro), 14.75% hit rating (with suppression since we dont usualy have any spriest or boomkins in raid), 467 haste. in raids im pulling about 3.4-4k dps but would like to increase it to around 5-6 so i can be in with the rest of the casters. my rotation is CoD or CoE/CoW as needed, immolate, conflag, Chaos Bolt, incin till confalg is up again, and incin 1-2 times then refresh immoalte, and keep casting incin in between conflag and Chaos bolt. the glyphs im using atm are Incinerate, immolate, and conflagerate. any advice would be greatly appreciated. |

I was told immolate was better for dps i use to have life tap. iv got a raid tonight ill change it out and see. |

Well, you didnt link an armory*, but if I remember you have plenty of spirit for the L/T glyph. *I dont usually look up armories, but I was bored today |

iv tested it and with LT my dps was lower so i dont see how LT ups dps |

changed my rotation to something i read on here and my dps on the target dummies went up by about 600  now to up it anther 1k so i can be in league with the mages.... lol

Dude, you still have spirit and crit gems. Buy the gems I listed above, or at lease the non-epic version, and you'll see your dps increase. |

i would but i have no gold atm and not realy eneogh time to do dailies on a daily basis. on my next days off ill work on making some gold to buy the gems |

k iv changed out the gems listed and i have noticed an increase and after doing some testing the LT helped too. but the lt isnt doing the same for anther lock in the guild his spirit is alot lower than mine but his haste is higher than mine and we are about equal in numbers in the raid. hes using immolate, should i recomend him use lt and not immolate you think and if not wat the best spirit to change to the lt glyph? |
