My fault. I was looking at this thread. Specifically this line: In every, single possible spec, do to the renurf of firestone buff (down from 300% inculding the +damage multiplier) Spellstone is best for all classes!I hand't realized it had changed for 3.2.

hmmm im also a dps failure (2.5k if im luck)and i dont no wat im doing wrong this is my rotation: lifetap(with glyph) immolate, chaos, conflag, incinerate then redo immolate and renew lifetap when it goes down and repeat this is also a link for my chars gear and talents: WoW Heroes - World of Warcraft PvE character info & ratings wat am i doing wrong? |

I read thoroughly through all the posts, the easiest thing i found to do was to take advantage of socket bonuses. To an extent it worked i might add. I am now at 550 haste or so, spellpower dropped immensely, but my dps has gone up. A fellow warlock and i have been spending alot of time using recount on the target dummies to troubleshoot my dps again though. As of now im running into the oddest problem. I can begin on a target dummy (glyph of lifetap, Glyph of conflagrate, Glyph of Incinerate) Rotation=Lifetap, Talisman of resurgance, Immo, Chaosbolt, Conflag, Incin (spam then Redot) Keeping Lifetap up. The problem arises when i am studying recount after a good 5 minutes on the target dummy. Using the Spellstone or Firestone is very inconsistent. One time i will Do better DPS with one than the other, then later i will do better with the Opposite stone. Mind you i am doing a consistent 4.2k at minimum, i can hit for 5.5 at times then end on the 4.2 to 4.4 range. I get convinced that Spellstone is what im to use, then i will hit harder with the Firestone. I can come back two hours later, fully repaired, Start over again and then do better with the Firestone this time? There is nothing consistent about my DPS at all, its becoming frustrating as all get out. I am on the lower end for spirit (working on that) but still getting haste up as well (around 550 now). I also replaced my modem which totally crapped out, latency dropped by half (now consistently 100 latency) |
