Changed gear and lost 1000 dps PvE help <3
So I fail as I recently figured out. I went from being able to pull over 5,000 dps in 10 mans to being able to barely pull 4500 dps in a 25 man. I just changed my gems and my robe and this is the result. I went from my t8.5 chest to the crafted Merlin's Robe. So I broke up my 2 set bonus there but I still cant see how my dps would drop that much. I also changed a bunch of my gems so I was stacking spell power and it actually got worse. The World of Warcraft Armory I have no idea what I screwed up on but it just went down in a blaze of glory. I also use the right rotation, the right buff food, the right flasks... where did I go wrong. If anyone could shed some light on this issue I will love you forever <3 Thanks

From first glance, you're 1% low on hit (22 hit rating, to be precise), assuming you have the requisite Boomkin or SPriest. (Source) You are gimping your Imp with only 1/3 in Improved Imp. Yeah, the cookies are nice, but sacrifice Stamina if you want those. Same goes with Demonic Power in the Destro tree. Try this build for a little more umph from your foot tall mouth piece. As for gear, set bonuses are the bomb diggity. I'd personally try for 2pc T9, followed by 4pc T9 if you can swing it. Also, you have too many purple gems. You'll probably want to regem your hood, staff and Runed Cardinal Rubies and move your third JC gem to a hit gem on your gloves.
