Something's Wrong.
Well guys, I'm having some trouble on my DPS. First of All here's my armory profile, check it first please The World of Warcraft Armory From what I see with that kinda gear I should pull like 5k on the heroic dummy righ? But I'm pulling only 3.5k. So let me specify what I'm doing so you guys can help me to find where's the problem. Rotation: I'm using the easyDestro addon so it tells me what to use and what's on CD. It always goes like the usual rotation. CoE, Immolate,Conflagrate,CB, Incinerate Gear: I'm putting all my gems into spell power since i thought i should stack that to get the big numbers. I always put the Firestone. Glyphs and Talents: As you can see I used the general spec and glyphs Still I'm getting 3.5k dps on the dummy. Seeing from my profile I would ask. Is it my haste? My crit? What would you guys suggest o improve my numbers? |

I have considerably better gear and will hit 4.5-5K on a dummy. I think you're working too closely on the assumption of raid buffs. Simcraft numbers allow for heroism, not having to curse of elements, 5% crit debuff, 5% buff on your crit, haste, spell haste, hit buffs, spellpower buffs. The damage you'd gain would be pretty considerable. With the value of each buff being between 3 and 9% I'd say. And multiplicative. Maybe I'm missing something, of course but I suspect that it's more just over worrying. You also completely lack a set bonus. |
