Amazing Twin Valkyr warlock exploit.
Something I learned last night that I'm sure will be either hot-fixed or modified in the next patch. Hadn't seen this anywhere on the Den. I used it in 25 TotC, haven't had the chance to try it in 10 or 25 TotGC but I was told it works in all versions of the instance. Step 1) Before the fight starts, get the light buff. Step 2) Use hellfire. Step 3) Watch light begin to stack. Step 4) Profit. It takes a couple of minutes to stack it, but you can start this fight with empowered light. I wouldn't advise stacking all the way to 100 actually as you are likely to pull on the tank prematurely. Stack it most of the way and get it 20-30 seconds into the fight. The exploit technically works for anyone who takes fire damage, so things like drinking a sulfurion slammer will work too. Only much more slowly. And you'll be wasted the whole fight. But guilds have been using this exploit for the 3 minute achievement and hard mode. |

You can get banned for exploits. Might be worth a try to test for a few ticks on normal mode, but to actually use it to push your guilds progression? Good luck with that and the knowledge you used an exploit to do it even if you didn't get caught |

On another note, does anyone know how much the auras actually decrease/increase the damage done? Ie a set percentage? My thoughts on this is that with a affliction warlock, it might be worth it, looking at it from a DPCT perspective, to cast dots on both bosses, if corruption against the other target with less damage will still do more damage than a shadowbolt. Wich could produce some... interesting numbers. -Goodie
