The dps boost ensures #1 damage done on the fight for me. NOTE: I wish we could still release our infernal so that everyone could crowd around him, get the fire damage from his aura and get the stacks. |

when i zerg'd os10-3d there were a couple of mages which were doing 7kdps I did about 5k they were a full 100 points below me on wow heros.. oh AND i generate more threat!!! Ade |

I'm a bit disgusted at how much threat warlocks pull and comparing it to Mages... wtfiknoright? dps and all... On another note, does anyone know if the this is a legit thing to do or is a suspend-able offense? |

I had strange results with this fyi, we used this recently and the stacking appeared to function as described. that being said, i dont think this will need to be nerfed. My reasoning behind this is that there were three locks in the raid, two of them used this technique and I did not. Nobody died in the raid and I came out on top in dps. Neither of the other locks were newbs and in fact were quite uber. My only thought is that either it was nerfed and the stack building somehow doesn't count for nearly as much when out of combat, or perhaps when you switch auras the stacks fall off? |

I doubt seriously that this would result in a lasting ban on the account. maybe a 2 week or 48 hour. They read player forums in their "free time" so chances are they know about it.
