Just read the entire thread "The Casual and the Hardcore Player" please post JUST The following information.

I consider myself a second tier raider, pretty much in full T2 equivelent at this point..

honestly it is just as much about smart use of your time as it is amount of time...

I consider myself a hardcore wow player. Every free second I get I play and even the hubby has asked me to back off a bit. The I see other who play more and it classes me as casual. So this is personal classification. I have been seeking WoW anon but it doesn't seem to exsist yet.

I've given up on doing any end game raids or anything cool like that. At the moment I'm building up a pvp mage just for tinkering around with.

I'm acually thinking of switching to eve online just cause you don't need to spend hundreds of hours playing the game to have fun.

What is the purpose of this exercise?
1. 8:30-?? once a week is when I and 4-5 others I know IRL group up to tackle dungeons and elite quests. Everything else I do after hours (10pm or later). I'm not willing to sacrifice time with my family (wife + 3 yr old & 19 month old) beyond this. And I think age of children matters. At first I was aghast that unholyguy would spend 3 nights a week AWOL from his kid, then I realized his kid is probably 10 years old so it's not as big a deal.

Because someone wanted to know... that's what forums are for. And let's not turn this into a thread of who is good parents or not Raven... it's just a fun little thread.
