Under 3. They can help you lose weight:

And of course, anyone with a copy of Wii Sports knows that an evening of virtual tennis has real-world ramifications, particularly in the triceps and back muscles. Is anyone working on Wii Masseuse?
Haha! I can still remember my partner's family laughing at both of us on Xmas day as we struggled to lift and pass things like the bread basket or god forbid something heavy like the potato's after playing Wii Tennis for some 8 hours straight the night before! I don't ever remember my arms, chest and back hurting that much since I went to the Gym for the first time yeeeeears ago.

Re: Games are Good for You!

LOL I don't know if the thing about Doctor's playing them makes me feel any better. Last thing I want to worry about is if my Dr is paying attention to me or trying to work out how to make it to the next level in his game of choice.

One thing I noticed that the article left out though was MMORPG's. Those provide heaps of benefits like bettering your social skills, although lessening your spelling and proper english. But anyone who's lead a raid or group can claim better management skills, better people skills (some - more DoT's man can't) as well as myrid of other abilities.

I know I've learnt a lot of things about other people purely based on their location!

Now we just need more good articles like this!

Haha yeah, tried the Wii Boxing, but with only one nunchuck it wasn't as fun beating up the computer man as much as it would have been my real man.

Re: Games are Good for You!

I keep pissing off my dad by all the ways I apply video game-learned things to real world problems. Like bringing my Nostromo to work and macro-ing all the commands for some database maintenance I was doing. Hell, he raised an eyebrow when I brought my mouse to work. Sensitivity adjustment and graphics editing go great together.
